Obamacare is not Medicaid. Its a tax on the working middle class and working poor. Can't afford insurance? You have to pay for not being able to afford it-that's essentially what it is.
Just because you can't afford insurance or coverage does not mean you automatically get 'free' coverage from the government, no. When you file your taxes, if you did not have coverage for that year, you will have to file a separate form and pay the penalty-95.00 for head of household and roughly 70 dollars- FOR EACH CHILD THAT YOU DID NOT HAVE COVERAGE ON. How this came to law is beyond me.
There has been talk that over the next 4 or 5 years, the lowest priced plan will cost the average tax payer 20 grand a year with 2 kids. Think about what's going on here.
Well we already pay 6000 premium per year. PLUS 1500 per person deductable, PLUS copays. And thats a group rate from my husbands employer. I've always wondered why SO many people have the mindset "you have insurance"...I'm thinking "because I bought it!"

Everyone again has an opinion and as we agreed are entitled to it. President Barack Obama had his and it is now the LAW! so all this "crying" about water under the bridge is really annoying when we need to keep moving forward. Obama care is the LAW, Obama is an American Citizen, Obama did graduate College, Obama did Win the election fair and square despite the repubtards attempt to fudge it. Obama did save the country from another depression contrary to what you people want to believe. And he was re-elected to finish the job by the MAJORITY of the folk who reside in this country. No more tears...PALEEEEEEEEASE!
Now it is obama's turn to find the money to fund his socialist national medical program. Bless your little heart.

The states cannot over ride the feds ignorant one. They lost that argument when idiots like you tried to over turn it. Ever hear of the Supreme Court? or did you think that was a new ice cream flavor at Ben and Jerry's?
And shut up the crying again about "your" rights. Your rights are no greater than anyone elses yet you people cry like little bitches every time we try to move forward in this country.
Now you have resorted to profanity to labeling the tax payers who you want to financially support the deadbeats who shall benefit from the higher priced government obamacare? Are you trying to endear yourself to us by using profane remarks again? Must I remind you the problem with using profanity and your loss of credibility. Bless your little heart.

If the deadbeats who want us to work and provide for them by continuing giving our tax money to them they should show us some gratitude and grace.

I agree, but we have to show grace. Many of these people lack the capacity to show their appreciation.

I show them grace by providing them some of my money. If they don't want to show me their appreciation they shouldn't be allowed to have any of it.

I share in your frustation. I have family who always ask me for money, and when I do not help, I am told I am selfish.

Wow, several of us actually agree. I graciously give to you because you are in need, you humbly accept and put of appreciation, you are a good steward of that gift. THOSE character traits can not be legislated.

One cannot help but have these issues brought to their attention. When your gas goes up 100%, your healthcare goes up 40%, and your taxes are about to go up..... You tend to research why. I have worked since I was 14. I have never not had a job. Why is holding people to a standard wrong or hateful?

He has provided clarity as to the ineptness of his leadership, his lack of ability to produce a budget, his ability to spend tax money we don't have, set a record for his mendacious speeches by an occupier of the WH, and shown everyone how schools such as Harvard and Columbia will award a degree to anyone if they are of a certain ethnic minority. Bless his little heart.

Obama wants gas prices to soar. It forces people (and their money) into urban areas. The schools start doing better, there is money for pet projects that provide jobs. BTW, gas in Europe is about $10/gallon.

Those who work have options that those who have elected to depend upon the government to support them have lost. Do you really think your post with its profanity, incorrect grammar, misspellings, and racial hatred has impressed anyone but another deadbeat tax supported leech? Bless your little heart.

I'm 15, lets start with that. I'm not involved with politics, but I know things are not equal when it comes to money. I saw a woman in very nice clothes with an iPhone and iPad out and purchasing her food with food stamps. Yet my mother works two jobs, my dad one, and I will be working soon (July, after I turn 16), yet we fall short of what they have. No, my parents are not cashiers, my mom is a school bus driver and office worker, my dad a professional auto technician. I'm an adolescent and I know it is not right to see what is going on here; we ultimately fund what they are able to purchase. That is not right. I think those who are unemployed should step up and help with projects in the public works (of course those with disabilities and health issues not so). They should do a little in return for what we have done for them.

Keep this attitude, finish your education, and you will have no problem getting a job. You are the kind of person employers are searching for.
