You have a computer- look up his number- If I had my way the good "doc" would be rotting in jail for all the lives he is messing with-
Go ahead and get your pills from his pill factory-
Then see if you have any recourse when something does go wrong-
Good Luck CHUCK!

I wonder what this was all about? State of Georgia vs. Asutosh C. Vyas, M.D., Case No. 99CR03399, State Court of Clayton County. No way the GREAT Doc as some of you think could have ever done anything wrong. Hahaha. He is a crook. I've been seeing him every other month for 2 years. He writes a prescription with 1 refill. That changed. He now wants to see me every month. You know, help line his pockets with even more cash.

I am sorry to hear you are still in his "care." There are other Doctors out there who will treat you with the respect you deserve, leave your dignity intact, and care for your health, instead of his own bottom line. You have a choice to make, I hope it's the one that places you far away from him.....

OH MY GOD. THIS HAS GOTTEN TO BE THE MOST HATEFUL, LYING, UNPROFESSIONAL, CROOKED DOCTOR I HAVE MET IN MY LIFE! MY HUSBAND WAS NOT BELIEVING ME WHEN I USED TO TELL HIM HOW MEAN HE WAS TO ME. I TOOK HIM WITH ME THIS TIME, HE HAD TO SHUT HIM DOWN AND GET MY COPAY BACK. MORE LATER, IM DRIVING.

I know exactly what the State of Georgia vs. Asutosh C. Vyas case is about. He was concerned that some pain management patients in an effort to extort money from him would make unsubstantiated claims about his treatment of them even though he had a nurse in the room with him. So he decided to put closed circuit video cameras that ran during all working hours in each examining room. Great idea but apparently illegal unless you tell patients about them. Which, coming from India, he did not know. Someone saw the cameras and put 2 and 2 together and called the cops. In court he admitted he did it. Not to catch someone undressing but to prevent false accusations. The case was dismissed and he was put on probation by the medical community and he never did it again.
A real bonehead move but made not understanding the complexities of US laws of privacy. That doesn't mean he isn't a good doctor and I sure wish he were practicing today. If anyone hears that he has returned to medical practice please post it here. Thanks.
