Newark, Calif.– Chinese Restaurant News announced that Concerto Fusion Cuisine located in Morrisville, PA was named the No.5 Overall Excellence winner. The announcement was made at the 7th Annual Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in the USA Awards Show held at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in San Francisco. With more than 45,000 Chinese eateries in the United States, the national event organized by Chinese Restaurant News recognizes, cultivates, and preserves the best in Chinese cuisine. Concerto Fusion Cuisine’s superb showing in the Top 100 Chinese Restaurants Competition is sure to attract more patrons during the upcoming Chinese New Years.
Concerto Fusion Cuisine, located in Morrisville, PA, is owned by Man Wong and offers euro-Asian fusion cuisine with a special emphasis on traditional cooking that is done in a modern and innovative way. Making sure to integrate traditional recipes with new trends, the restaurant offers menu items that are prepared in a healthy manner using only the finest and freshest ingredients.
The signature dishes include the Vegetarian Treasure ($16), Thai Salsa Beef, and Aromatic Duck. According to Wong, home style dishes can be transformed into the culinary treasures you see served at five-star restaurants. He does this by insisting on choosing the finest and freshest organic ingredients that Morrisville has to offer. The Vegetarian Treasure, this seemingly standard dish consists of garden fresh vegetables with rich colors and multi-layered tastes. Your taste buds well celebrate when they taste the fresh water chestnut, asparagus, luffa melon, fresh lily bulb, shiitake, abalone & enoki golden mushrooms which are all supplied from local farms. The fresh produce gives the dish a somewhat pure, natural and sweet kick, but that’s not all. It is then infused with chicken consommé creating a scrumptious dish that balances natural taste with nutrition.
To qualify for an Award, restaurants must receive positive industry or customer recognition and must be in business a minimum of two years, except for those qualifying in the Top Rising Star category. Restaurant menus also must consist of at least 50 percent Chinese cuisine, except for those qualifying in the Asian Restaurants category. The final results are tabulated with Mystery Diner's scores from an independent third party and direct votes from the public at large.
The Top100 competition is open to all Chinese restaurants in the U.S. Participating restaurants include newly established restaurants, seasoned restaurants, chain restaurants and past award-winners. A comprehensive list of all the winners can be found at http://www.top100chineseresmenu.com .
