Omgosh, Tater....EXACTLY what you said!
I love Scenario 7! LOL
But seriously, how did we get to this point?

I think it happened because our 'free' country is slowly becoming just like all the others.

We got here because the average person went to work and the easily persuaded went to college to learn to teach. We allowed our class rooms to fill up with the communal bunch and the terrorist of the 60's. We have been too busy to clean house making a living due to their making it ever harder to do so.

Great work on all those scenarios. We are still "1958" at our house but so many forces are acting against us.

The law, in my opinion, and I'm sure some of them feel the same way, should keep out of people's domestic issues unless they are very bad. I think they've heard enough 'going nowhere' cases to be able to determine which ones warrant real response.
Yes, there are a lot of scary people in the world, but parents should have the freedom to teach their children right from wrong. Kids have TOO much power these days and they're not afraid to use it. Unfortunately, we gave them the power.

Communism brings with it the destruction of individual rights and no matter what you have been told communism is where the progressive intend to take us. When the school system encourages your children to revolt against you the school system has an agenda and you should realize that. When the school system puts posters of a politician up in their schools they have an agenda and it isn't a good one. When a group of people sing the praises of a politician giving them a persona of greatness they have an agenda and it isn't a good one either. When people start asking questions of how to get on welfare, get food stamps, unemployment checks extensions and free phones they are sucked into the agenda totally along with the people that praise these programs as necessary. Progressive equals communist level playing field equals everyone alike, Fair share equals all you have more than your neighbor, and social justice equals from the lowest educated or talented to the most educated or talented receiving the same pay grade.
This country has come down the path of communism a long way and will complete the journey in a few short years. Romney told the truth 47% of Americans are already willing to go down that path and 6 percent are too stupid to recognize what is happening so the communist have accomplished their goal and they know it very well.

The decay of our society will be due to grammatical errors multiplied to infinity. Failure to use correct punctuation is very distracting. Grammar is a simple set of rules, agreed upon by all, which set the parameters for the written language. Abide by these rules. Good luck!

In my experience people that have the imitative to worry about grammar never accomplish anything in life. The shakers and doers have more important things to do and believe its a waste of time to punctuate and so forth. Teachers excluded of course.

Tater and the rest of you complainers. It's people such as yourselves who are undermining the integrity of our great country. I've been in education for 32 years, and yes lots of things have changed. This is called progress. You don't like it, buy yourself a DeLorean and go back to 1958. Trust me, the good ole days" weren't always so good. We were just kids during this time and didn't know the struggles that adults like our parents were going through. Good times, bad times.....just suck it up, work hard, and quite pointing fingers at others. You people need to accept responsibility for your own lives instead of blaming your lot in life on others. Free money, guvment cheese, food stamps.....some people need these items to stay alive. Sure, it's abused, but I don't want to cut services from those who truely need it. When you see a child who comes to school just because they get two free meals (otherwise they would go hunger), you will understand. Look into your hearts, have compassion for others. If you have it good, thank GOD. But don't condemn the less fortunate.

I don't think that anyone here is condemning the less fortunate. The issue is not with the people that legitimately need assistance, the issue is with the scum that abuse the system to live a scot-free lifestyle. Whether the family has a legitimate need for assistance or if they are abusing the system, I feel nothing but sympathy for the children of both sides. No child deserves to suffer.
