I usually stay out of thes forums, it's just a bunch of trash talking and GOSSIP! I just wanted to say, I have heard MANY bad things about TPC, but what I witnessed yesterday ( Yes I am a patienr) takes the cake! I was sitting in the waiting room and a Lady came out from the back with a blood pressure level of 100/180! That is STROKE level, they did absoloutley nothing to try and help her, from what she said, she is on bp medicine but had ran out and asked them if they could give her a script for some untill she could get to her Doctor. They did NOT! What they should have done was call 911 and had her taken to the ER! They let her walk out of that place with her bp that high! I was so concerned about her that I asked for her number, I called to check on her last night and sure enough, she had a mini-stroke and is having difficulty walking on her left leg! This is outrageous, she said not only did they allow that to happen but that they have messed her back up worse than it already was by getting injections by nurse practitioners who are NOT qualified to give the shots! At last report, when she is able, she is going to file a lawsuit against them, can't say that I blame her! It shouldn't matter what kind of phsycian you are seeing, you should be able to trust them to take the best possible care that they can of you! To the Lady in question, I will happily testify in court for you, what they did to you, they should be made accountable for! Good luck to you, I hope you feel better and that your ability to walk improves! God Bless you, and I for one, will NOT be going back to that Place! What a sad situation!

To Concerned....this does not surprise me in the least, all that place is, is a money hungry, evil, corrupt so called place of buisness! From what I understand they are under investigation for insurance fraud and for writing prescriptions to people that they have no proof that there is anything wrong with. if I were the Lady, I would make sure when she files the lawsuit she supenons all her records and whoever it was that took her blood pressure and the doctor who refused to give her meds or call 911. From what I hear federal Indictments are on thier way. I just spoke with a former patient there who stopped going because of KIM, because she is such a BITCH and curses at the other employees there IN FRONT OF THE PATIENTS! How unprofessional and just pure TRASHY! I also heard that at one point one of the nurse practitioners quit because of kim and has since returned because her car got reposessed and she was about to lose her home. I also heard that since the nurse practitioner returned she has become just as big of a BITCH as Kim. That is sad because from what I am told Glenda was a very loving, caring person who actually CARED about the patients there. it all comes down to the allmighty dollar, having money versus CHARECTER....hmmmmm, think I would choose charecter. What is sad is that when they do close them down they all will be in trouble, my advice would be to get out while you can! also to concerned, no a nurse practitioner should not be giving the injections, only an anesthegiologist is qualified to do those. I would be willing to bet that your friend is not the only ONE that has or is going to file a lawsuit against them. I wish I could post a text message on here that I have on my phone from a patient that goes there who stated in the text "I just go there to get the medication and sell it" why are drug tests not being given? just another thing that is going to bring them down. to Kim- you can get on here and defend yourself all you want, but I haven't talked to a person yet who likes you or who that doesn't refer to you as "THE BITCH" WOW! thats why u go thru so many employees they cant stand you and a dog shouldnt be talked to the way you talk to people, the problem is, you don't know what the hell you are doing as an office manager so you take it out on your employees. I pray that everyone that works there takes heed to this warning-GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN BECAUSE WHEN THE INDICTMENTS COME DOWN YOU ALL WILL GO DOWN!!!!!!!!!

Ladybug you are right but pain clinic or not they should have at the very least called 911 or told her to go to the er. I know a patient that goes there and they give her medicine for depression what does that have to do with pain? I think treating a bp that high would be more important than treating depression. if they can write prescriptions for depression why couldnt they write her something for her bp? from what I hear they are under investigation for insurance fraud and giving people pain pills when they have no proof that there is anything wrong with them.they say that the so called office manager KIM is a pure BITCH who curses at the other employees in front of the patient that is so unprofessional and just down right trashy! they go through employees there like I go through bloomers, they actually had one of the nurse practitioners walk out on them then her car got reposessed and she was about to lose her home so she came back. they say she use to be a nice caring woman who trully cared about the patients but now that she has come back she is just as big of a BITCH as Kim! I will just be glad when the indictments come down and they get everyone that works down there, they will all go to the pen and the nurse practitioners will lose thier licence. WORD OF WARNING TO ALL EMPLOYEES OF TPC GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!!!!! It took 3 years of investigating to close dr. Foster down look where he is now, I will surely be celebrating when KIM goes to jail, what an ugly, mean spiteful, cruel, uneducated, illiterate BITCH she is!

Why didn't YOU call 911? or take her to the ER?

And what, exactly, are you going to testify to in court? How do you know what her blood pressure was? How do you know what they did to her? You don't. If you do, its either hearsay from the waiting room or a HIPAA violation.

Her doctor's office could have given her a refill prescription over the phone to get her by if she had run out. The "doc in a box" at Crescent Center or the walk-in clinic at Healthstar could easily take care of it, too.

Settle down, take your oxy, and watch your soaps.

These places should be shut down because all they do is legally dole out strong pain medication that normally would be bought off the street. These places are not even owned by reputable doctors. If you are going there, you are going to get drugs.

Depression and anxity have alot to do with pain. When you are huring you get depressed.. Have you not ever seen those cymbolta (sp) commercials? Depression hurts! Its goes for the other way around also. When I am hurting and I cant clean my house because I can't stand long enough to sweep or mop, wash dishes, or even do something as simple as dust... it gets depressing.. good Pain and depression.. you will get all the info you need.

What the hell else would I be going for. NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOO OOOOOO I dont sell my pain meds. There are legit patients that are there to take care of the pain that they have to endure daily, who without them could not function.

OP, your story has holes in it... Nurse practitioners are allowed to give those shots, if the office gave you the ladies personal info out she can sue you and them for going against hipaa regulations, it's a pain consultant office... the only doctor that is allowed to give a pt with known bp disorders is a primary physician... tpc could of been sued had they given her the wrong bp meds... she has no case because with her bp that high it is her responsibility to get to the ER
