The Paul Muscari topic sparked an interest in me to go through the whole list of crooked doctors in Morristown. This is going to be kind of fun because since I'm just in high school, I don't know many of the big stories, so I'm depending on you guys to chip in.

The one that I know is Michael Chavin. I can't dig up any articles online, but I know that in the past he has both lied about his tax information and written bad prescriptions.

Discuss.

Forget Chavin! Dr Foster is a major contributor to the drug addiction problem in this area!

What do you suggest a "good doctor" would do for someone in chronic daily pain? Considering they both specialize in helping people with pain, I assume they write a lot of pain meds.
I do not know either one personally, but anytime you focus on that group of people, you are going to have a lot of "bad apples." Unfortunately, there's no way to always tell who is lying and who is telling the truth; I'd say it's abot 50 percent from my experience. There are a lot of drug addicts in this town, no doubt.

Unfortunately, you don't know what you're talking about and therefore don't GET IT.

These doctors write prescriptions in people's names that don't need them. Or, knowingly write prescriptions to addicts or dealers.

Mon-Thur the office has people lined up by 7:30am to get in the door at Dr. Fosters office. I work at an office near there and patients can be seen sitting in lawn chairs in the parking lot waiting to get in. The license plates on the cars are from all over the East Tn area and other states.I also know a lady that is perfectly healthy that goes to him to get a rx every month and sells it to make her house payment. I am confident there are people that have serious chronic pain who need care.

I'll make it real simple:

Doctors have money. People with money get off easier. ALWAYS. People with money have things overlooked that the poor would be hung for.

There's nothing to stop a physician from writing a prescription to someone who comes in with the wrong identity/someone else's card, etc...And most people on narcotics are addicted, that's the nature of the drugs. If they sell, them, how does that make the doctor liable? That's like charging the guy with murder if he sells a gun to someone who uses it to kill someone. Pain is very hard to dis-prove.

I go to school with one of Chavin's kids, and you've never met a bigger stuck up pain in your life.

Anyone wanting to commit suicide, but is too afraid to do it him/herself, just go to a doctor or hospital in Morristown, Tn. They are the bottom of the barrel, and crooked. Many are foreign medical graduates, and all are driven by the service to their bank account, and service to the sick comes a far last in their priorities. They also look at the people of Morristown as inferior inbreeds, and talk down and ignore important health concerns. If you are in East Tennessee, go anywhere but to the sorry place called Morristown(little Mexico), or you will certainly remember my words, too late, but you will understand, hopefully before you pass away.

Did anyone hear the Phil Show last week (WNOX), where he had guests on there discussing this very problem? They said that East Tennessee prescribes more pain medication than ANY OTHER PLACE IN THE UNITED STATES!!! This is a very alarming statistic!

It is not just pain meds, its all meds. The average east Tennesseean takes EIGHT prescriptions daily. Seems excessive, huh?

i don't know when the last time you actually saw this stuff going on at dr.fosters pain clinic ,but if you wanna check it out he has been gone from morristown somewhere between four and six monthes..i am not saying you didn't see this going on it just hasn't been recently,i know for sure he is not here my husband is a patient of his and has to travel to knoxville to see someone in fosters clinic he has not actually gotten to see foster since he moved down there guess he saves his appts. for the special people...my husband got hurt at work and almost always has to be in a wheelchair if we are not at home he has severe nerve damages in his back and hurts almost all time so whatever they deem nessecary to keep down the pain i won't condemn him for i don't like seeing people i love in pain.....
