Does anyone have any comments about Dr. Bratton? My husband has an appointment with him soon and we don't know his reputation very well. Any input would be apppreciated.

Operated on my husband's broken foot and he has had no problem with it. I have only heard good reports about his work.

He is a great Dr.!! Several yrs back My Mother took a horrible fall on Eater Morning. He was called and came right to the hospital. He did not do her surgery(she was critical and was sent to UT). but she seen him afterwards and he was so kind and considerate!! You can't go wrong with him. Your husband will be in good hands!!!!

Dr. Bratton set my husband's hand(1999) and right ankle(2006). He has had no problems with his hand, but the way he dislocated his foot along with breaking the ankle has caused arithisis(sp?) to set up. Bratton is an excellent doctor, and your husband will be in great hands with him.

My daughter broke her finger and knee 6 years ago and she went to Dr. Bratton. We were very pleased with him and she has no problem with her knee or finger.

He set a broken ankle for me that required screws and a steel rod, about 5 or 6 years ago. No problems. Not only is he an excellent doctor, but he is very condiderate of your time and he usually keeps his appointments. He is the only Doctor that I ever saw who apologized for making me wait 5 minutes beyond my appointment time. This kind of Doctor is few and far between. You will be very pleased. He respects your time and doesn't make you wait for long periods in the waiting room.

I wouldn't let that man do surgery on me again if my life depended on it! He messed up my right arm completely, I am on disability now thanks to that man. I was only 28 yrs old! when he screwed up my life. He also did surgery on my grandmothers knee, and she never! walked again after that man had his hands on her! Never will I send anyone in my family to that man again! Go to knoxville!!!

Funny how you are the only one who has anything negative to say about the man. Sure you didn't want to just ride the disability train? He has done 2 surgeries on me and 1 on my son and he and I have had ZERO problems.

Avoid. Very nice but not very competent. Good at the basics not good at any thing else. Better at being your friend than your surgeon.

My mother used him with a leg injury. He did 2 operations and the nerve was cut into and he never repaired it. She had to go out of state to get it fixed. She also stayed in terrible pain due to this never been fixed during the surgery. A Dr. in knoxville sent her out of state to have it fixed cause of the lengthy time he let it go.

I would recommend Dr. Christopher over Bratton. I have nothing against Bratton but my personal opinion is there is no better in our area than Dr. Christopher.

I broke my arm and he was the doctor who set it. Once the cast came off it was apparent it was not fixed. I had only 25% roatation in my left arm. I eventually had to go to KOC and they rebroke my arm and had to put rods in it. After a year and a half of physical therapy and about 13 years later I still only have 45% rotation. I would obviously not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Bratton is an amazing doctor and person. He takes the time to talk to his patients and is very considerate of their situation. He is also very good to his wife and kids.

Dr. Bratton is a great ortho. And as far as sending someone to the big city of Knox, that is hilarious. Dr. Bratton could have a successful practice in Southern California right now. But he moved to our litle hillbilly town to be close to his first wifes family. He is a down to earth man who is on top of his practice at all times. Morristown is lucky to have him
