I have watched this "program" decline since the late Coach Price stepped down. I think it's time for a change!
Well a change would be great but it won't happen they are very thick at EAST. I sure do hate it for the kids. If coach price could see the joke that they have now for a coach he would just shake his head.

East used to carry strong tradition in baseball. West used to carry strong tradition in baseball.
Hire old coaches like Richard Price and Brumley Greene.
Out with the young coaches who like the young girls and in with the old Baneberry golfing coaches.
Kids these days are spoiled and run the entire programs. Stansberry and Gillies are best buds. Price and Greene wouldn't even pull each other out of a fire.
well now i think gillies and mark carroll are best buds

.....And maybe curse and then grin a little.-lol- Good ol' Coach Price...
The East High baseball team isnt the only sport affected by coaching.. Coaches just arent what they used to be.
The only thing the applying coach needs to acquire the job today is, a forked, fast talking tongue. The good ol' coaches of old could'nt have lied to talk their way past kindergarten security.. However give them a group of able players and they could mold those kids into young men/women who had something more to prove. They did their job on the sidelines of their playing surface not inside a office. Their hardest work was done on the field and not smooth talking their would be boss.
Coaches today talk their way into the door- then lose interest or become completely lost after that. Real coaching knowledge is not found in a person straight out of high school or even college. Nothing beats experience and then again no amount of experience will connect someone with a team-thats just a matter of being the right person for the job.
Once again maybe we should look no further then the ones doing the hiring. The coaches are afterall doing the job that was gave to them. Doing it wholeheartedly or half assing it, the job is still theirs. It is like you said "thick" and it may be hard to fire a friend.
I just know that team has more talent than a 10win season thus far.
