Another bad call by the Tennessee justice system. According to Knoxnews.com , no charges will be filed against 16-year-old Tashanti Underwood, who was illegally operating a dirt bike up and down a residential street when he struck and killed Chris Billington, 43.

The Lovell Hills subdivision where Billington lived has been continually disrupted by teens illegally riding motorcycles and ATVs, and residents, especially Billington, weren't satisfied with the law enforcement response, reports Knoxnews.com .

Billington stepped out into the street to try and confront Underwood, when Underwood reportedly swerved his 2001 KTM 300 dirt bike and hit him, knocking him to the pavement and cracking his skull. Billington was declared dead 45 minutes later [source].

Underwood fled the scene and didn't stop, later telling police he didn't know that Billington was injured, and that he feared the man wanted to hurt him. A blood test on Underwood revealed drugs.

During the last two years this punk has beaten a man at the Turkey Creek Starbucks in Knoxville and he received probation. He spent time in juvy and has missed a lot of school. He will be 18 in July and won't have the the soft touch protection of the juvenile system to protect him. Won't be surprised when he's on the front page of KNS for Drug arrest or murder. DA Randy Nichols did Knox county citizens a disservice by not teaching this punk a lesson after killing Chris Billington on May 6th 2010.

KPD Releases Names Of 2 Killed On Stolen Motorcycle

"Less than 10 minutes after security cameras captured a trio of burglars stealing two sport motorcycles from a North Knoxville dealership early Monday, one of the bikes was involved in a high-speed crash that killed its two riders nearly 10 miles away on Interstate 40, records show.

The driver, Tashanti Ulysseus Underwood, 22, of Harriman, and his passenger, Esean Allen Phillips, 27, of Knoxville, were thrown from the 2016 Yamaha R1 when it rear-ended a tractor-trailer along westbound I-40 near the West Hills exit about 3:38 a.m. Monday, according to the Knoxville Police Department. Neither man was wearing a helmet."

Karma? Really? Maybe one day you'll die from your "karma" cause everyone has skeletons. The man on the back, Esean, didn't deserve to die. This man lost a 3 month old baby girl in March. Can you imagine that for a minute? His fiancée gave birth to another daughter on Sept. 24th. 15 days later, he is dead. His daughter will never know him. Yes, he made a bad decision but who hasn't at some point? Is your nose 100% clean? Likely not.

His family is hurting, his fiancée is hurting. How would you feel if the situation were reversed? So you can take your karma & cram it up your a**!!

Wow loses 1 child in march and already pops out another child gotta keep that check coming in.Let's see out at 3:30 am stealing(means he did not own or pay for ) a piece of property that another person paid for and was taking care of his family by working operating a business contributing to society. But the best you can come up with is karma . Yes everyone may have skeletons in their closet but most are not related to theft and running up and down the roads creating a hazard to their neibhors . Maybe just maybe if he was home with his new daughter instead of out thieving at 3:30 am he would be there and his daughter would know her father

I'm not the one who brought up karma. I was responding to the poster who did. Like they are the first couple to have multiple kids? Both of them worked. She's been at the same job for a very long time. I'm well aware of what stealing means.

My point is this, doesn't matter what he was doing. He didn't deserve to die. One day this could be one of your family members and I ASSURE you of one thing, you wouldn't want people shit talking them. Oh, your family are find upstanding citizens & would never ever break the law? Please!! It can happen to any family. At anytime. Quit pretending like it can't.

I've known this man for a VERY long time. When he lost his daughter he became someone no one knew. Everyone grieves differently. No one knows what it feels like to lose a child. I do. I lost my daughter 2 years ago & my heads not been right since. Never will be. You just don't have a clue what it does to your mind. One day, it could be you. Remember that.

Jethro, what a damn name, shut the f*** up. He was on his way back home to go to work the following morning. Did you not read the news article? He was the passenger which means he didn't steal anything. He may have been with the others when they stole something but Esean didn't steal anything. The guy who stole the bike has a lengthy rap sheet.

Guilty by association. I'm aware. Doesn't mean he deserved to die. Like I told the other idiot, one day, it could be someone you love. Remember that.

I'm glad he's gone. Knoxville is a better place without him.

Did you not read correctly!!!! He had every intention of stealing a bike. Actually he did....it died like he did and he chose to hop on the rear of the other thief's bike and carry on like it was okay! No, no one deserves to die just as no one deserves to have something taken from them that they worked their ass off for either. I understand he was mentally disturbed after losing his daughter but that doesn't justify his actions. His ass should have been home with his new daughter and providing an honest living. He was an animal just like his buddy was. I mean it's pretty disrespectful knocking your girl up again before she even has time to heal from giving birth!!! Esean was a thug and as fake as the eyelashes Scottie wears. I can't imagine how bad that little girl is gonna feel when her momma explains to her that stealing motorcycles was more important to her daddy than being home with his rainbow baby!! He may love Scottie but obviously he loved other things more. The baby momma's are always good enough to birth babies but never good enough to marry. Love is not joy riding in the wee hours of the morning stealing bikes. His selfish choice left a lot of people in pain that didn't deserve it with questions they will never get answers too.
