I'm sorry you lost your favorite teacher. It is difficult when you lose someone so special suddenly. It is important to remember how truly precious life really is. No one really knows how much time any of us have. Appreciate and let others know how special they are to you. I'm speaking from personal experience. I wish I had expressed my appreciation before I lost someone too soon.

I looked on the Meadowview site and did not find his name anywhere on the staff list? I am sorry for the loss of both men this morning.I saw the accident and can tell you the emt's, Fire and police showed the utmost respect in getting the men out of what was left of their vehicles. They bowed their heads in prayer after getting each out... you don't see that much these days. My condolences to the families.

Maybe we should all just be put to sleep when we turn 65... think that would solve everything?
Have some respect. What happened was terrible, but the same could happen to any of us.

That makes me proud to live here. I heard he was a student teacher, though. I am so sorry for all who will be missing him - as well as the Lakins family.

<quoted text>the police are paid government employees therefor should not be expressing any religion of any type on the clock.
If this is true someone needs to complain maybe get the aclu involved to make sure they leave god at home when they go on the clock.
I wish I had saw it I would have taken pictures so the ones involved could be called out and as proof it happened.
I'm glad they showed their religion! One day they will over you while they're picking your ass up, thinking this one isn't worth it but he needs alot of prayers right now..... Maybe you say stuff like this to get prayers for yourself right now, cause I bet you, you definitely will be getting prayers tonight, I know you will from me..... God bless all people involved and yes even you "that's wrong"!!

Wow... here's an idea... let's get rid of everyone who prays on a daily basis, is under 45 years of age, and while we're at it, has a learning/mental/physical disability, and makes under $30,000 a year... That would really give medicare and the government a break! Gee, Hitler and Stalin, where can I sign up?! Cos that's the kind of world I want to live in...

actually euthinizing mentally retarder and deformed babies at birth is something I would be for 100%
Espically ones whom would end up being supported by taxpayers.
Hospitals should be required to take them at birth and never let parents see them and give them something to painlessly end Thor life ASAP

Give them a break you idiot. They had to witness that horrific scene. When you have enough balls to do the job they do and go through what they see everyday then you can complain. Until then, maybe you should start praying for your own life!

if they can not leave their god out of their job then they should get a job in the private sector. I am not paying taxes so people can worship some sky nanny and zombie on the clock.
you know as well as I do it it illegal for them to do so and they can get in trouble for it
People like you are the reason that this world is as bad as it is. Have some respect for others and what they believe. The rescue workers had respect for the deceased and their families. Maybe you need to go to another country where nobody gives a sh*t about you. Other countries would just throw your worthless a** in a big ditch. We don't need people like you here to bring others down especially when people are grieving over a lost loved one.

Isn't it ironic that non-believers go on and on about Christians forcing their beliefs on everyone... and yet, it is "illegal" for us to pray on our jobs or in our schools. Talk about infringing on rights... I can't help but ask: how much joy do you actually experience on a daily basis while harboring such dark perspectives on life?
It's probably best if that stays a rhetorical question... not sure any truthful answers would come of it.

It amazes me that such things could be said, I will pray where I want job or not and praise his name, umm lets see they took prayer out of schools and look at them!!! Prayer is a powerful and wonderful! I pray that the lord has compassion on those who post such awful things and I pray that he comforts the families who have lost their loved ones all too soon! May god bless everyone who reads this post on the job or not!

how is this wrote:
According to a study done by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, on a per mile basis, the death rate of elderly drivers is nearly triple that of drivers age 16 to 17, and it is nearly 20 times that of drivers age 50 to 59.
https://www.aaafoundation.org/sites/default/f...

Don't know where you got your info... But this article seems to say that teens have the highest percentage rate or killing other drivers and passengers. The elderly have the highest percentage rate of their own deaths... but that's the only category they score highest.

If you look at the wording... it is not illegal for a government employee to show an act of religion. It is illegal for a government official to force an act of religion onto their underlings. So what these officers did was not illegal since it was initiated by the whole.

And also Wrong, while you are at it... you might want to call the aclu and let them know the State of Oklahoma has passed a bill that has allowed them to over step the federal mandate of allowing religious signs at any government building site. A 10 commandments is being built at their state capitol as we speak. The state of Tn is looking to put a similar one on the books so next time you go to school or a local court house you'll see one there too.

Their god is a part of their lives, including work, which is in the private sector.
And no, it isn't illegal to pray in public. Also, if you have a problem paying taxes, then stop. They can't make you. However, theyll jail you and take your possessions in turn..

The obits said he actually worked for Cherokee Douglas but taught at Meadowvies and maybe another middle school. And as for why it happened, I am so sorry to all involved. But God enver promised us a reason for things, jsut that he would be with us. And we do have to realize that if bad things never ahppened, we would never apprecaite the good.
