Before all the wise remarks get started let me respond. I have heard both good and not so good things about the church. Anytime someone is looking for a church they need to ask themselves a number of questions. Will they feel more comfortable in a large congregation or a small one. Do they agree with the denominational teachings and beliefs. How involved do they want to be.

There are many good Bible believing churches in the area and then some that aren't. Remember that some of the old denominational churches that were strong Bible believing have now changed their beliefs and now accepting things of the world. Visit different churches and if you feel comfortable, and you feel the Spirit there, then pray for the Lord's leading.

If you want further information then I will tell you how to contact me.

I agree with Warrior. If you visit a church make sure they use the same Bible you use. Is their leadership set up the way you believe it should. Does the church have visitation to reach out to the community. Do they help the needy. What is their mission outreach. Lot of things to look for in a church.

If you don't want to know the negative along with the positive you will not be able to form an accurate idea of the church or anything else. That is delusional thinking but then again if you are seeking a church you are seeking delusion.

Good suggestion. There are good people and bad ones in any church. How's a body to be saved if he don't show up to worship.

Typical Southern Baptist Church which endorses false bibles such as the Non Inspired Version (NIV) Not King James (NKJ) and Holeman Christian Standard which reads like the New World translation of the Jehovah Witness. They have no problem with Freemasonry which is a false religion of doing good works to enter heaven. You have to believe in a supreme being to be a Mason. It doesn't matter which false god such as Buddah or Mohammad. Don't go to Southern Baptist churches because they compromise for money to use false bibles and endorse the false religion of Freemasonry whose god is satan.

So the King James version is the ONLY Bible?

The KJB is the only bible printed today that uses the Textus Receptus for it's text. The roots of the text go all the way back to Antioch, Syria where the disciples were first called Christians.(Acts 8:36) The KJB is the seventh bible in history to use the TR text. By the way seven in the bible means complete or finished. There is no need of other bibles today. We have all of God's words preserved without error forever in the KJB.(Psalms 12:6-7) All bibles printed since the KJB use manuscripts that date back to Alexandrian, Egypt which is always spoken of as evil in God's written word.

Well. Well. Well. "The truth" has resurfaced. And once again he is a complete moron. This idiot has not one clue about what he is saying. He drones on much like a brain damaged imbecile with His "king James is the only true Bible" routine. He is old news that Is pretty boring. As for the Masons, well, let me just say I am a Free Mason as were many of our founding fathers, government leaders , influential evangelist, and successful business leaders. This nut is just envious because he is not included in this elite group. He probably supports "Isis".

Wondered how long before he would show up. When proven wrong he disappears for awhile. Will not say if he even goes to church. I undersand from years past that some know him and he isn't liked by other Christians. Just let him rant because hee hopes someone new will debate him.

I would suggest that you visit First Baptist and let the Holy Spirit lead you...There are many good churches in this area, including First Baptist..Just take your family, visit, and decide for yourselves. God bless you as you try and find the place where you can worship and serve our Lord Jesus Christ, in Spirit and in Truth...

I am an active member of FBC Morristown. It is a good church! There are many other good churches. If you are looking for a perfect church then good luck. Every church of which I know is made up of sinners that have been saved by the grace of God! Sure not every member is a Christian but I do not think you will discover a church that is 100% Christian. Even Christians need daily grace from God!

I fear Freemasons and the American government that is policing the whole world except for our Southern border more than Isis. We killed more innocent women and children for oil in Iraq than Sadam Hussin did. Where are the weapons of mass destruction? Would you lie to protect a fellow Mason or would you break the blood oath you swore to uphold to become a Freemason?
