Oh good God, most people don't give a rats ass about Molly or who works there. It's not hurting Morristown one bit for a bunch of unskilled overpaid laborers to lose their crap jobs.so you made a couple of dollars more an hour than the other places. How much you making NOW?$275 a week unemployment that's how much.
BTW...the folks that were making two dollars an hour less than you are getting the same $275 a week...that's how important your big job was, idiots.
Keep crying, it's funny.
If you don't give a rats ass about Mahle and the workers then why in the hell are you on here go back and get on your momma's tit,and cry to her because you did not pass the math test.

I hate to say this to you all, but I called an associate of mine that currently works for corporate in Germany, but has been flying back and forth from Stuttgart Bad Cannstatt to Morristown for about 3 months now. Guys I'm sorry, but Mahle is closing it's Morristown location this summer just as I suspected. I'm sure they aren't saying much about it because most of them probably have no idea either. I'm so sorry.

Big time Molly workers making two dollars and hour more than other people doing the same kind of work. Big time Molly workers working allllll that overtime six and seven days a week. Now they draw the EXACT same amount on their Unemployment checks as someone who was flipping burgers. And poor ol Molly workers are going to be scrubbing toilets and asking people if they want fries with that, soon as their unemployment checks run out.
Boo Hoo Hoo.
How does that MATH sound former Molly workers...huh?
What, are you crying so hard you can't answer?
Well, maybe you can run the register at the Burger King or MickieDs then you can put all them MATH skills to good use when you need to give change for a twenty.
Oh there ARE funny little moments in life once in awhile and this sure is one of them, oh hell yeah.
Karma will be knocking on your door soon. Make sure the house is clean.

One German automotive company (BOS) very quitely moved it's operations to Mexico and 250+ jobs disappeared-sounds like the same thing is happening to Mahle if you ask me.

As most of you know by the other Mahle threads I worked up there for around 12 years. Here is what I have heard for fact. The Cat lines are going to shut down July through October. No real surprise here, as it has been on the news that Cat is temporarly shutting down plants all over. The Cat contract is still in place, but they just have no orders.

Now this is what I can see happening. I see all the automotive end of Mahle's business in Morristown going away. I look for it to come a complete Ferrotherm / Monotherm facility. The reason for this is simple. That is where the profit margins are. I don't think Cat, Cummins, or DDC will make very many truckers happy if the percentages of how much of their truck is manufactured in the USA goes down.

Just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt as I never look to be called back.

I have heard rumors that Automotive will be shut down because of the slow sales but also that people are being promoted into other positions. If they are planning to shut down why are they promoting people???? Who are your insiders that you are getting your information from???? If you are high enough on the corporate ladder to have a friend that is a big time corporate German then you wouldn't be so afraid to tell all of us who you are

There is just 1 thing that keeps bothering me about your post. Well besides the fact that everyone who's anyone at Mahle knows that upper management has watched all these threads like a hawk. So no one from upper management that may know this informatin would get on Topix and blab it. But something else just is plain wrong in your post. Mahle GMBH's location. First, Bad Cannstatt is to Stuttgart as Powel is to Knoxville. Mahle GMBH is in Stuttgart, however they do have some things that are located in Bad Cannstatt, Stuttgart, Germany. Which is the proper way to put that address.

Now having said all that, if what you are saying came true it really would not surprise me. I have heard things about a shutdown plan of attack so to speak, but I'm not going to get on here and post things I've heard as fact.

it's spelled "mahle" not "molly". your stabbing at people that work is really childish, if they have big trucks and jet skis, then they work to make the payments on them, if they have a big house, then they make payments on it, you obviusly couldn't pass the math test so your bitter towards them, grow up, get a life and stop degrading people for having what you can only dream of! i know lots of people that work at "MAHLE" and would hate to see them loose their jobs, but i haven't heard anything of a plant closing, other then the week of july 4th.
