It will be announced in a few days that Mahle will "temporarily" cease all manufacturing operations in Morristown. June 30th will be the last day. They were scheduled to shut down for a week the 1st week of July and restart the following week. They will keep a skeleton crew on for cleaning and inventory for a few months but after all that is finished they will be let go also.
They will keep some office employees in Morristown for now but they will eventually be transferred to other Mahle facilities.

My how the mighty have fallen.
I know of THREE Molly employees that are flipping burgers now.
There goes your 'real job'
No more yacking about the'hard math test'
Time to sell your big trucks and jet skis and move on over to Price Drive.

You all should have known way back when you'd have to eat all them words you so pridefully ran around town spewing out.
GOO RIDDANCE

Maybe we'll all laugh at you when you loose your job. I really doubt they are flipping burgers yet, their unemployment hasn't ran out yet.

Clearly you don't understand economics "Its all over" anytime a plant closed it's door the entire community suffers. Just because you could not pass the math test is no reason to be bitter to those who could.

When I read this I was scared but not shocked at all. I'm a Mahle supervisor and have worked there for 8 years. Last week after a meeting I overheard this same conversation between two of my superiors. I did in fact hear they were closing the plant for good this summer. Since last week, we've put our house up for sale and are planning on moving west. I never said a word to anyone, but I'm not sure how you found out. I knew this was coming but I just didn't want to believe it. This is going to be Morristown's saddest year to date.

This is a very stressful time for all of us right now while we are laid off I pray this is not true. I know people on here want to bash Mahle but truth be known they have paid our bills for the 5 years that my husband and I have been married. NO we don't have a lot of big vehicles and jet skis like everyone is trying to say but we have the necessities. If this is fact then I don't know what we will do or any of the other families that will be affected by this but I pray that it isn't

I hope this isn't true. I hate to see anyone lose a job but it is so bad already and if Mahle shuts down it will be 10 times worse on those of us who have been without work for a long time. I have been without a job for a few months and their is nothing out their that I am qualified to do and if I do luck up and find something the competition is horrendous.

Morristowns saddest year?
Oh good God, most people don't give a rats ass about Molly or who works there. It's not hurting Morristown one bit for a bunch of unskilled overpaid laborers to lose their crap jobs.so you made a couple of dollars more an hour than the other places. How much you making NOW?$275 a week unemployment that's how much.
BTW...the folks that were making two dollars an hour less than you are getting the same $275 a week...that's how important your big job was, idiots.
Keep crying, it's funny.

Big time Molly workers making two dollars and hour more than other people doing the same kind of work. Big time Molly workers working allllll that overtime six and seven days a week. Now they draw the EXACT same amount on their Unemployment checks as someone who was flipping burgers. And poor ol Molly workers are going to be scrubbing toilets and asking people if they want fries with that, soon as their unemployment checks run out.
Boo Hoo Hoo.

How does that MATH sound former Molly workers...huh?
What, are you crying so hard you can't answer?
Well, maybe you can run the register at the Burger King or MickieDs then you can put all them MATH skills to good use when you need to give change for a twenty.
Oh there ARE funny little moments in life once in awhile and this sure is one of them, oh hell yeah.

It has nothing to do with the pay when you work for someone for 11 years it is stressfull to look elsewhere in this economy. You probably couldn't pass the math test and JEALOUSY IS AN UGLE COLOR OF GREEN. For any one else that would like to post comments about this situation here is how you spell the company name MAHLE
