I heard that Starbucks is going to go in Ingles on the West side of Morristown. Is it true? Anyone know?

I've only ever seen Starbucks inside Targets, not any other stores. I may have missed something, but I'd be shocked if they partnered with a fairly small chain like Ingles. I'd guess if they came to town, it'd be closer to Wal-Mart or Exit 8 to get the interstate traffic.

Morristown does not have the interest or income to support a Starbucks. How many people know what a grande mocha latte is and is going to pay the price. Seriously the only Starbucks you are going to get in Morristown is from the over priced bag you buy at Walmart and perk it at home. By the way, when that Starbucks opens maybe that Victoria's Secret will open next door. I still laugh about all these coming to Morristown rumors. Now on the other hand. If someone told me we were getting a new Mickey D's, a new Walgreen's or CVS AND a new doctor's office or pain clinic...... I might just believe that story!

Well, we are getting one and actually I do know what a grande mocha latte is. Not everyone in Morristown is ignorant. I also love Victoria's Secret and shop on their website on a regular basis. Not every post has to be about putting down other people.....let's be positive here!!!

Dude I have no idea why the Ingles manager would know what will be in the Food City Center but if it ends out they are not going in; You, happens and/or Hey should look into opening up your own. Sounds like you think it is a good idea so you should research it, learn their strengths and weaknesses. Who are their customers? Does that demographic exist here; and open your own Morristownbucks. Make your own way.

Sorry Mo'town but Starbucks and Targets only come to areas that not only a certain amount of residents but also a certain demographic and Morristown is not it. It might not ever be. There have been rumors of Targets for over 15 years and so much would have to change to get either one. We are stuck with crappy Dunkin Donuts and Walmart. Glad to be moving back to civilization in the next few years. Too many drugs, "good ol' boy" mentalities, and close minded people to want to stay.

In a couple of months you'll be eating your words. It's coming. I saw the layout of Ingles. A lot of changes are being made.

Hey that's an idea! Maybe they can put one in Walgreens,CVS or one of those other 200 drug stores we have in Morrristown.
Curious, how does a town the size of Morristown earn that many drug store??????

I wonder the same thing. They are every freaking where! Back before I had insurance I would call around to check pricing on my blood pressure medicine to find the cheapest price and it is amazing the price difference! I don't see how they can charge such different prices on the same meds from the same drug company and how some of them stay in business!
