I had used Bare Minerals for about 5 years and I recently ran out so I tried the Loreal version.I cannot tell any difference.I am still using the BM brush to apply it and I think if you didn't have the good brushes there would be a difference.Alot of the times the Loreal is buy one,get one free at Walgreens or CVS.Really,I think it is just as good, and way cheaper!

I got my first batch form QVC, in a starter kit with a bag,(all full size) 2 powders and a blush, 3 brushes and 3 eye colors for $49.00!!!! Now when I have to get a refill, I plan to go to Ebay, its cheaper and you can find unopened batches also. Mineral makeups dont really expire, they occur naturally in the earth and have natural sunscreen properties. Im an Aesthetician and have worked with several doctors in two different offices and have seen several diferent brands. Most are the exact same thing, so really you cant beat the Loreal or cheaper brands. The cheaper brands are just the same companies that sell Estee Lauder and others in department stores.

not any more--she was from Rogersville (I think) and was not supposed to be selling it in morristown because only one supplier can sell it per town (from what I understand). I buy mine from Shear Structure. The other places may be cheaper, but with ebay there is always a risk you won't receive your product (or receive it in good condition), and I prefer to support my local dealer and keep the money in my town.

the loreal makeup is lose powder with a little bit of mineral added to it so they can call it a mineral makup. Bare minerals is 100% pure i looked at the ingredient in both. It's the #1 mineral makeup in the world. i buy mine at shear structure they are great to help you with what you need plus you get to try it on to match your skin tones

Mine lasts usually 4-5 months, it just depends how thick you want to wear it. You might be using too much according to one person, but if you like your makeup heavy than you will go through it quicker. You really don't have to wear alot to get coverage. I switched to bare minerals after wearing mary kay for 20 years. At first it seemed really light, but after I got used to it I really love it. It looks much more natural.

I am good friends with the girl that owns Shear Structure--you cannot have more than one supplier per town, that's why the lady at the mall had to leave!

I wore Bare Minerals for a couple of years and now I go to Classic Tan and Skin Care for my mineral makeup, Pam the Aesthetican will match your colors up for you. It is a whole lot cheaper and more in the container. I just went back last week to get some more and they now have the mineral makeup in a pressed powder and its the same stuff as the loose just in the pressed. I can now carry it in my purse without all that mess.

I didnt say that it was Bare Minerals I just know that it has the same feel and the same coverage that I got with Bare Minerals. It has a whole lot more in a container and for a lot less. You need to go look at the minerals they have and compare them for your self.
