<quoted text>I'd prefer to sit in the 'pet cemetary' any day, with such great ambiance in the courtyard and their wonderful investment in color and decor inside, than go sit in that Jersey Girl dump with their old timey look. My friend who ate there said that place would do well to give their food away. None of it is prepared fresh either. She laughed over the hotdog which she said tasted like an eraser it was so old. To each his own I guess. Eat there if you can't pay more than $1.99 for lunch. If that's all you can afford to pay to eat lunch somewhere, I'd just boil Ramen noodles at home and save my gas money.
I haven't yet eaten at the Jersey Girl cafe nor do I know the owner or anyone working there, but I will give the place a try. I have eaten at Java Garden a few times and I would question that the food or service could be much worse at the new place.

<quoted text>You are not too brilliant. I was not running down Java Garden with my post, you dumbazz, so I don't know why you directed your comments to my post. Also, I don't care if you are 'not a Java friend' either because my family definitely is. We too, dine there most mornings for breakfast and enjoy eating outside in the SWEET LITTLE COURTYARD for lunch.
Well bless your little pea picking heart.

Well, you (and I) heard in the Shitizen Tribune that this gal had to put in a lot of money for upgrades (after that POS that owned the place: C.S.). So, why not give her a chance? I have not been there yet, but I love a good reuben!

Ate there today. Got there about 11:30. Got a table fast, but by noon people were lined out the door. The food was very good and the services was ok. I thought it was fine considering the crowd they had. However, since they are so busy I think they should add another waitress or two. They only have 3 working the place and one is the owner who also works the register. I would recommend the place. I would suggest to go before 12 or after 1. Great hot dogs and rings.

I went for lunch today also. I agree with "tired" totally. They could use some help. The food was absolutely great though. I had the fried shrimp. It was totally not frozen. Some of the best shrimp I have ever had. My friend had the reuben. She loved it. I hope they open for dinner soon! I will certainly be back!

I have eaten at The Jersey Girl 3 times now and love the food! Wonderful! Nice and Clean restaurant.

The only thing that I would ask the owner to do was to NOT hire wait staff with visible Tattoos! TACKY, NASTY, TACKY! Makes you feel that your waiter is dirty. Really ruined today's meal for me to have a waiter with visible tattoos.

Make them the tattoo employee wear long sleeves or just don't hire them.

<quoted text>Well, if it's like Denton's and other posters have described above, it sounds disgusting. I won't eat frozen junk from Sysco. I'm sure nothing is prepared fresh. Does anyone know who the food supplier is for this restaurant or who owns the place? That will tell you a lot about what kind of restaurant it is. I'll continue going to Java Garden. It's clean plus the food is ok for the price you pay.

They are happy to have that type of people working there!
They think that type of look is 'cool'.
And there is a certain element in town that thinks that sort of look is 'cool'also...but thank goodness the majority of us know better and will not associate with such riff raff.

<quoted text> You're kidding, I hope. Everyone who is anyone? What in the sh1t makes you someone, eating frozen microwaved food and sitting in the "pet cemetary" outside?
Haven't you ever noticed as you drive by the "garden" (say that in one of those high class accents) all the people who obviously think they are at the 'place' because they are at the 'garden'. Hell I wish Daffodil Bakery was still downtown, you could walk in get real food and no one gave a shit who you were and you didn't feel like you were eating around a bunch of wanna be someone's. I've come to realize most of those hoots wouldn't know frigging good food even if they ate at a 5 star restaurant, they would still want their fake sandwiches, their frozen thawed dessert and that cup of something they call coffee.

We ate at the jersey gril diner today and the food was great and well priced. There is not many places you can go and get a meal like that at a good price. The services was wonderful. The place was very clean and you can tell it had a lot of work done to it.

Well, I can't believe, you people really talk about this, are you kidding me!! you hillbillys really have nothing better to do than sit around and talk about restaraunts, someone told me to look up this bashing session going on and I'm amazed. I was thinking about buying a home here in morristown, however after being bombarded by southern bapist so called hospitality, and your close minded small town drama, I am dying to go home! and by the way....if you think you're somebody because you're sitting on the patio of some small town coffee shop, and sipping wanna be lattaes, then you need to get out from time to time, I suggest LA. oh and to the person who compared the java garden to Starbucks..they are going out of buisness, but you'd know that if you were somebody!

Duct tape works good for tattos. Have seen tape over tattoos in some neat restaurants. The tattos are the person, and once they are applied they can be washed. Hey its not what you can see that causes food poisoning its all those little bugs you can't see. Think about it.

If some people would stop their prejudices against tattos, the world would be more beautiful to them. Have you really looked at some of the tattos? I have seen some tattos that are without a doubt works of art. Tatto artists are just that---artists. Next time you see a tatto, look at some of the detailed artwork that it contains. There is a woman who had a double mastectomy. She covered her ugly sugerical scars with tattos that are beautiful works of art. She no longer feels self conscious about her body. She feels like an artist's canvas. Some tatto artists have spent four years in college majoring in art and have chosen to display their artful ability through designing tattos. Please, everyone, be more open minded. You never know what beauty you are overlooking when you choose to judge first instead of really looking first.
