If anyone ever ate at Geno's in Jeff City this is the same people with the same food. Nothing is new but the name and location. So I wouldn't consider it a new restaurant. Geno's in Jeff City was there for years.

My husband and I ate at this place last week. The salad that comes with your meal is tiny and mostly lettuce. The portions of our pasta was large, however, not very good. We each had spaghetti. Mine had meat sauce and my husband added meatballs and Italian sausage to his. We drank water. Our bill was $36!!!Spaghetti at Little Dutch is much better.

Carry your fatass back to little dutch then. You people wouldn't recognize good food if it hit you in the face. Luigi's has great "authentic" Italian food, and there's no other place like it within 45 minutes or better. "MS MOM" says it all, you're a low-life fatass uneducated, cheapskate kanklefied loser, and your opinion of good food means jack-sh!t.

Cheapskate? You work at or own this restaurant don't you? They said they went to Little Dutch and their prices are fairly high, so that just means you got angry because they didn't enjoy the place. Well, if that have asshats like you working there or defending the place that's a good enough reason for me to never try it.

I suppose that you are an "authentic Italian"? Give me a break! I don't mind paying good money for good food. However, this was not the case at this place. I'd be willing to bet that you have money to blow at restautrants because you don't pay for anything else! You're on food stamps, TN Care, disability, free school lunch for your kids and anything else the government will give you! I hold a Master's degree and my husband and I are employed full time. So you go ahead and eat out all you want while the rest of us work to pay for your lifestyle. Let's just see if Luigi's can make it. My guess is they will be closed within a year.

You have a "Masters" in what? Fattassicology? lol I don't work at Luigis and I'm not on any kind of government assistance. You were the one complaining about paying $36 for 2 people to eat out, and YOU were the one who admittedly ordered water. Hence, I called you a cheapskate. That's right, that's exactly what you are by your own admittance. If you're not happy being a cheapskate fatass, do something about it and stop whining. Cheapskate...

Your logic is flawed. Perhaps they order water so as to remain thin. I don't know what's gotten you this worked up. Do you work for coca cola and you're pissed she didn't buy your product or are just generally an all around assclown?

I see some of you complaining that it isn't "as good" as Olive Garden or other Americanized Italian restaurants. These people are authentic Italian - born and raised in Italy - so what they serve are authentic Italian recipes. Of course it doesn't compare to Olive Garden and other places like it - those places are replicas of the real thing!

These are the same people that run Geno's in Jefferson City? There's a thread in Jeff City about Geno's where a lady said she tried to speak Italian to the owner and he walked to the back because he couldn't understand her. I don't think they're really Italian.
