although i see that the family is filled with love and striving to work together, there is alot of chaos. I feel that kody is being selfish by having a girlfriend. He has three wives and 13 kids that want and need his attention. That seems to me to be enough to keep him busy. what kinda of a relationship does he have with each of those kids? The first wife is having jealousy issues, well she is damn right. he only has so much time and now it is being split again between another woman and her three kids. what did you think of him coming back to kiss the girlfriend after he got the call that his third wife was giving birth? seems his mind is on his crotch and not his responsiblities. Everyne desires to have that new relationship feeling, i bet his three wives would like that too. how would he feel if another man had feelings for one of them? The girlfriend is most likely a nice lady, and she is gonna desire all his time being newly weds. but i think she is gonna be heartbroken, lord knows she crys over every damn thing.I know that at least one wife is working, but how do they make ends meet? i'm not latter days saint, myself, but hubby is, so familar with some of this.

Your statement is just one reason why public education needs to get better.

It's MORMONISM (aka The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints) and they quit practicing it back in 1890.

So using your logic, since Mormonism (LDS) do NOT practice plural marriage, then they must be a true religion.

Do they still teach that you must work your way to heaven?

The LDS have never taught you "must work your way to heaven".

The LDS do teach, and always have taught what Jesus taught, "If you love Me, Keep My Commandments."

As well as, "By their works, you shall know them".

Seems to me like men have enough trouble trying to keep 1 woman happy...why would they want to have several women? And why would a woman want to share her man?
"Oh honey, that's okay, you go on with sister Sara tonight...I'll just watch some TV and put my earplugs in so I won't hear you all..." Give me a break!

You need to watch the show ... Cause its not like that at all . I must say I was suprised by the way the FAMILY works , but it works for them so that's all that matters

I don't want to sound 'religious' about it or critical, but that's just not the way a family should work according to God. I realize there are a lot of people who choose to live outside of God's Word and that's their choice.

I shouldn't have sounded so sarcastic without having seen the show and I lived with my husband before marriage, but that was before I really got into God's Word. I choose to live by God's Word...but I think it would be pretty hard to maintain multiple relationships. Relationships are not easy...especially in the world we live in today.

Didn't that show cause the man some problems with the law?

Show me a reality show that hasn't caused problems with the law or such ... Not to mention its not anyones place to lay judgment except for GOD
in my opinion

I'm not laying 'judgment', I just saw something on the news and I thought it was the guy off that show.

You stated you don't want to sound religious or critical about it ... Then you go on to say god .. To me that is judgmental .... And well many different religions practice it still to this day .... And yes it was that man , however I remember a man from survivor going to jail , a mom from teen mom on the news ect ... But one should not judge anothers lifestyle . Nor say if it is right or wrong because to you it may be wrong , however to them it is normal . I always say to each their own .... And then GOD can lay the judgment and cast the stone .

I read that Mormons say "I have the opportunity to become a god..." The King James Bible says in Isaiah 43:10 Before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

I dont care what religion you base having three wives or more on.In this country that is illegal, and instead of being on tv he should be in jail! What is wrong with this country, when people who violate our laws are given tv shows???????Whats next a reality show all about drug lords???????

I agree. Hollywood takes everything and exploits it to make it into entertainment and these people on realities shows just take the money and run. They don't seem to realize they are being exploited and the viewers don't seem to realize they are supporting it by watching. I won't be watching this show.
