The Cookout is way better! So much to choose from, faster, cheaper, tastes better, free refills, tables to sit, restrooms, heat, roof, not a truck.

I have tried both on numerous occasions and I have to say that I have stoppped going to the truck. I will eat at The Cookout probably once a week since I drive by there everyday. I will usually eat at home before I leave for work and bring lunch from home but sometimes I don't have the time to do that and I stop for something. I like The Cookout's selection and prices. The food quality is also surprisingly good for fast food. The burger meat is fresh ground beef and really delicous. I also like the 99 cent menu as they have some tasty treats for cheap. The fries are also very good too. I am sorry to the people at the burger truck but they just have nothing to choose from and their food is really not very good. The burger truck is also too expensive for such low quality food. It also takes too long to get an order from them and have had too many bad experiences like undercooked meat and their fries are not good either. Just one girls opinion though so go try them both for yourself and make up your own decision.

Prices are higher at CGB but food is so good! Checked out CookOut the other day to see what the long lines were all about....it was just meh - not bad but I tasted nothing special. To me Wendy's or Krystals BA burger tastes the same as CookOut. Both flavors of milkshakes my kids had tasted the same - sweet and no real flavor. We'll probably try again, but for now we'll text our order to CG and enjoy....

Get the exact same hot dog and large drink at Sam's club for $1.50.

the truck will not last the winter.
food is overpriced and undercooked.
you can get a better burger, 2 sides, and a drink for less than the price of a burger at the truck.
2 hot dogs 2 sides and a drink for $1 more than just the hot dog at the truck which as was posted above is the exact same dog you can get with a drink at Sam's for $1.50.

How is the Yankee truck still in business? did Obama give him a bailout?

cookout has been open 3 weeks and still has lines backed out into the road and the lot as always full so they must be doing something right.

I don't see why it would matter either way. There is room for both.
I ate at cookout and it sucked both burger and bbq were small sloppy and overwhelmed with condiments. Maybe when they slow down it will be better. but for now I do not see what the lines all about.

I know how and where sam handles their products.
It's a lot better than what you get at your local superstore.
