My friend said they do it at curves but I'm not sure of the membership fee. I myself just ordered the DVDs for 60 and I'm currently reading the book.

Thanks and good luck to you as well.
The company I work for is taking us on a trip in May I think this year it's the beach so I want to lose some by then.
My problem is I love to eat especially sweets. Just got to get my mind around moderation it's just hard cause it tastes so good.

Thank you for your story. Reading it inspires me to go forward with ordering it. I've been talking to my cousin about getting it but after your story I'm definately going to order it! Thank you again for sharing and good luck on losing more!

Also for 16 dollars you can go on walmart.com and order the book Zumba by Beto Perez it tells his life story and how Zumba was started. Also has a great diet plan in it that includes the shopping list and a DVD with 4 of the dance moves as a training guide and 60 minutes of the music. I really like it so far.

I go to Ryan and she is amazing. She keeps you motivated to push yourself really hard. Everyone should give her a try and watch those pounds and inches disappear.

think 10 dollars a class is to much, do the math thats 30.00 a week to go 3 times which at the end of month 120.00. Seriously you can get two gym memberships at NFC for that. Curves has it for 5.00 a class. Still that 60.00 a month. I would say go and buy the videos and save the money

I totally agree with this, seriously when you really start breaking down what your paying a month, it makes no sense to spend that much. I cant imagine spending 120.00 a month just on Zumba classes. I guess people really arent thinking and also heres something else to think about, think how much the person making the zumba classes are making just in a day 3 classes a day, 10 dollars a person and they had 20 people in class, which Ive heard they do and usually have more would be 3600.00 for six days. Thats over 180,000 a year. Shocking huh. I think so, I think im gonna spend the 60 dollars and buy my own dvd's and not pad someone elses pockets. I need all the padding i can get!!

The instructor has to pay to be certified to teach Zumba and pay a monthly fee to the Zumba franchise to continue to teach.

Lakeway School of Ballet & Dance is now offering Zumba! The first class is free and then its $5 a class [if you get a package of 10 classes you get one free]. The teacher is a Zumba certified gal named Tara Kirk [who also teaches other dance classes at the studio.]
The studio is on Main Street between Jerry Seals photography and Jersey Girl Diner :)
