I usually go to knoxville or sevierville to get good food out. If you know of some good places in town post them up. Let us know about the bad ones too.

I'll go ahead and say that the Ihop on 25E is usually awful. I've went there about 5 times and it was just terrible everytime.

Kyrstal in the TSC parking lot is bad too. Never fresh

Just discovered a great little lunch place, the Sunshine Cafe beside Fred's in Alpha has a great hamburger.

One of the best places we had to eat was a little place that was across the street from the downtown post office, Llagniappes at Danny's. They had some great cajun food and for some reason they decided to move to the Holiday Inn on west AJ, bad move. I don't think they lasted a year after leaving their little building downtown.

I'll have to try it out. The place that was there before the Sunshine Cafe was terrible. They ran out of food everyday and when he'd give you refill of coke he would only give you half a glass because he was trying to save money. Nice way to run a business. I'll give that a try though, thanks for replying

I never new this until a few years ago but, "Llagniappe" is a cajun derivitive of a spanish word meaning "a little something extra", a buddy of mine named his boat Llagniappe

I remember that place! It was very good. Didn't go there after they moved though.

I would have to say one of the best pizzas you can buy is at White Pine Pizza. It's a little out of the way, but it is definitely worth it! Try the stuffed crust.

Do NOT eat at Golden Corral! I ate there once and everyone in our party got sick. One of the local docs tells me that he's seen numerous cases of E. Coli come out of there.

That's it. I'm getting Dr. Lynch a Golden Corral gift card for his birthday.

Best: Cafe Mozart - a little pricey for some but I have always really enjoyed my meal there.
Worst: Ruby Tuesdays - Way overpriced and the service has been horrible all four times I have been there (three were with groups from work). Last time, my food was a 3 on a scale of 10.

I totally agree on Golden Corral! My grandmother and grandfather went there sometime in 06 and were both really sick that night! I called them and they said there were no other reports?!?! I dunno I don't trust them people there for some reason I will NEVER go back there!!!

TRY JUSTINS they have awesome potato soup and so so so so many other wonderful plates!~

Justins has not changed the menu in so long that when I go I can't find anything I haven't had a hundred times and it's not as good as it used to be. Obviously the kitchen is hot because they keep the dining area freezing cold year round.

Cafe Mozart is downtown in (what I think used to be) the building previously occupied by ABS Copy Center. I ate there once and was very pleasntly surprised by how good their food is. I ordered a chicken Schnitzel plate which consisted of the Schnitzel (think: thin chicken-fried-chicken), saurkraut (not so tart with a little wild grain rice) and a dollup (yes, a dollup) of baked mash potatoes.

I really reccommend eating there (if it's still there as of March 2008!)

Someone should tell Fuji Sushi to take note: Akita gives twice as much chicken with their hibachi chicken carry out dish. And the taste is equally as good, and the price is less. I like fuji but was disappointed with their take-out recently.

I'd have to agree with Nikkibeth. A little pricey but worth every penny
