Guys, I just came back from Super Dog Grooming located beside of Direct insurance. I got there at 9:20 and waited until 10:05 and no one ever showed up. There were several other customers there and they all had stories of this kind of business practices. One lady told me that this is the third time they either did not show up or closed before the house posted on the door. Another guys told me he had a 9:00 am appointment and had been there an hour waiting on them. One thing they all had in common was they were through with Supper Dog Grooming. Just want to keep other from wasitn their time too.
Post you stories if they have ever done you this way. Post if you have positive comment too. Hopefully someone can open a new pet grooming business and put the under and with all the layoffs, it may be a reality.

That place is not worth your time the owner is LOUD and really does not know what she is doing a couple years ago when she was set up on the west end near Ingles they burnt a poodle in there for grooming.
Go to Judy's or to one of the Vets office or call the shelter and as the secratary for the woman who volunteers her time to groom animals she is great. But dont use Super Dogs

Super Dog I have used them for sometime never a problem. Sometimes thing happen that you can not help. The more dogs you groom the more chance there is for something to go not so well. If you had just 1% of the time something to go not so well. If you had 2,500 customers that would be 25 problems. You can be asured those 25 would be on the complaining to everyone. So fare I have never had a problem and I hope it stays that way. If I did I am sure she would make it right to me.

I have had to wait outside at Super Dog too. They were almost an hour late in opening. I was told, along with the 2 others who were waiting, that everyone who worked their was sick that morning. Well, that happens but they have my contact information, could they not have called me? They can call me to reschedule for every other reason why not this one?

I too do not take my dogs there for they kept coming back with fleas. Which I doubt is the owners fault but the bad pet owners who do not provide flea treatments to their pooches. But business is business and I am a business person and you cannot state you will open your doors at a certain time and not show. That is very bad business. Its their loss...

We used Super Dog at their prior location. The service was good but the dog always returned with fleas. We since switched to All Dogs in Jefferson City and have been well pleased. Great service and no fleas!

I will NEVER go back to Super Dog. I took my 4lb dog in for grooming and when I went to pick him up he acted as if he didn't even know me. To some people this may sound normal, but not with my dog. At home if I go outside for 5 minutes and go back in he acts like he hasn't seen me in a year. He is always wagging his tail and will play fetch anytime for as long as you will throw something. I think they sedated him to cut his hair. If I knew this for a fact then all hell would have broken loose because they AREN'T licensed to do so. When we got home after his haircut he wouldn't eat, play fetch or move around for that matter. He would just lay beside me. If he didn't sit still for his haircut then they should have called me. I would have come and picked him up. I now take him to PetSmart which sucks because it's all the way in Knoxville. They groom them right out in front. We came back early to see how he was doing and he sat there and didn't hardly move at all. So this ruled out my "he wouldn't sit still theory". He finally returned to his normal self the following morning after Super Dog had him.

Any one have problems with Super Dog lately?

I was there recently. There were about 14 dogs in there, of all sizes from large lab type dogs to very small dogs.

There was just one Hispanic man working there which seems an awful lot of dogs for just one person.

There was one dog very scared over in the corner plus another dog that was trying to bite the man.

When I picked my dog up later that day, my dog was acting scared and cowering, something the dog has never done.

It took them over 5 hours to do a bath and groom my dog.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any problems like this?

Any other places in town to take the dogs to be bathed and groomed?

Super Dog has always taken care of my doggies. They have been very nice and uncostly. I was unable to pick my dogs up a couple of times (since I had to work late) and they brought my dogs to my house. Super Dog loves animals and takes good care of everyone when they walk in. I wish Topix commenters could be nice & not try to destroy Morristown businesses. If you type in any other zip code, you will see how bad the gossipers are here. Were you people never taught "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything?"
