Ford Escorts have been a problem around a lot of cities, not just Morristown. I'm glad they quit building them.

Think about the danger of escorting someone in a Ford Pinto. You really wouldn't want to get hit in the "rear" in one of those.

A new car built by a major car company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should the company initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one.

That's what happens when you name a car after a bean. Too much gas.

If you want to see a pinto, go to Maynardville in Union county. There is a pinto on a pole at a place called Jim Sextons. I'm not kidding. And, I knew it was a joke. I just take myself too seriously. ha ha

The Ford Pinto had a lot more in common with the bean than it did the Mustang. Both Pintos were known to be explosive.

You guys need to stop having these "escort fantasies."....If you really want to live on the edge and have those toes curled, go Corvair!
Yep.... "Unsafe at Any Speed" is bound to address those unspoken urges for the dark side.
