okay people I have a good question...you know everyone talks about how being a pill head is bad...a meth head is bad...well what about a pot head? I honestly don't see the harm in coming home and blazin' me one up after a long days work..In my 30+ years of being on this earth I have NEVER seen anyone kill anyone over pot..never seen anyone over dose from smoking pot...the worse thing I have seen is someone over eating and laughing to hard.. what's your opinions...

The only problem i have with "potheads" is dont burn one in the parking lot at work during lunch breaks.I work with a few that actually do this everyday, and it is ingnored for the most part. Now before anyone slams me on this, one in particular is a forklift operator, who just happens to be bringing in 5 ton bundles of steel that passes real close to several work stations.(and no a drug test is not required at our place of employment).
My two cents

I really don't see that it's any worse than alcohol really. But alcohol isn't good for you. It's just another vice and it's arguable as to wherther or not it's a "gateway drug" ! If we really need another legal vice. With any drug as long as you don't do something stupid like driving or working stoned where you can hurt someone else, I don't care, it's your life. I have seen people hurt by pot indirectly though. SO it is not completely harmless !

I dont doubt that if it could be taxed it would be licensed and treated like alcohol.

I knew a guy who had an accident at work while under the influence. Drug tested, lost his job, depression = suicide. The pot didn't kill him but he smoked alot, he must have had a tolerance for it and maybe an addiction, I know everyone says it's not addictive but that is arguable. But anyway it set into motion the events that ended his life.

I used to smoke pot every single day for at least four or five years. Some people do it so often that it barely affects them. Then you have people that never smoke and they burn one and are wasted. I wouldn't want a bunch of people like that running tow motors where I work, but most people who do smoke do it daily and are to a certain degree immune to it, thus their performance isn't greatly affected.

I too think that within twenty years it probably will be legalized.

I once worked for an explosives company and the general manager once told me he had to test 14 different people to hire the guy that was hired before me.

I'm not going to say wherther or not pot is physically addictive but I've seen first hand at least a psychological addiction (kinda like gambling) they crave the feeling and the release from anxiety. There is a syndrome of symptoms that goes along with withdrawl from smoking pot as well. Pot does contain carcinogens so it's not a safe habit by any stretch. Better or worse than any other drug ? Not much difference except in the effects and duration in my opinion.

It's not as bad ,your body is full of cannabinoids wether you smoke it or not.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Virgo

Mercury is turning retrograde at just the right time, because it's telling you to consider the validity of your long-term aims and aspirations. If they stand about as much chance of seeing the light of day as you do of winning the Lottery, then you need to streamline them or even abandon them and start again. So think about what you want from life and how you're going to get it. Children and romance may be quite erratic during this phase.
