I've never listened before--any body know how many years have they have done this? Is it a piece of paper with a pumpkin on it or what??? Where all have they hid it in the past?? Don't worry, I'm not even trying to find it---just found it interesting! haha

They have done this since the 90s. It is a pumpkin and I'm sure it has AM 1150 written on it. There are a lot of people out looking for it --- including me!

Anybody on here know anybody that's found it in the past? I guess I just can't figure out what they are even looking for and how they would hide a pumpkin!

Lol..I looked for it a couple years ago.Followed all the clues. The clues led to a key hidden under a bench at Fred Miller park that opened a lock box at the station where the pumpkin was.I was lookin for a pumpkin..lol Didn't win but was standing right next to the bench while taking kids to the park.

We(me, my daughter, her friends, my sister, her daughter, her friends, etc.) have searched for the pumpkin for years. We never have found it, but we sure had fun trying. One year, a friend and I just knew it was the airport. We had a young lady that worked there, climb that big tower and look because we had seen something gold when we drove by. She almost got fired and we had to do alot of explaining. I haven't listened this year. I'll have to do that tomorrow.

Don't bother looking for the pumpkin yet...they don't hide it until the last week ( the week before Halloween)..that way the advertisers get their moneys worth from the contest.....

Well, wouldn't that look bad on them if it was found in a certain place and groups had looked there?

I also remember that a couple of years ago nobody found the pumpkin...wonder what THAT was all about?????..Members of my family have searched for years and one guy went up a tree in that little park downtown looking a few years ago...then surprise...the pumpkin was found in that same tree the day before halloween.....intresting to say the least....I was there!!! The pumpkin was not...til halloween.....the advertisers have to get their money's worth or they wont pay.... an insider at the station told me that!!!!

Don't waste your time, Dad. It won't even be hidden until a couple of days before Halloween. "In the know" knows what they are talking about. It's just a variation on an old tried and true promotion that has been around for decades. It will be "found" in 9-10 days. If it were discovered now, people would quit listening and the advertisers would get less bang for their buck. Start your search in about a week. Good luck!

Look in the Bethesda Cemetary. It'll be located near the witch's grave.

And don't forget to take your camera because you might be able to snap some pictures of them orbs flying around. Oh, take your recorder also to record any disembodied voices while you're there.
