You better take 39.99 . It's cheaper than mine. 50.00. But I do get my own trainer and my own locker in the vip room. no big deal. good luck.

Christy, how did you get a membership for 33 amonth? Every person I talk to is usually around 39.95 a month....what is the difference in VIP membership and regular? I'm new to this and am seriously considering signing up. Do they allow you to transfer memberships?

Well, I didnt get tanning and that adds 5 a month on I believe. Im not sure and Ill have to look to be sure, ok its 34.95 a piece. My husband and I both have one. They say when you sign up the only way to get rid of the membership is to let someone buy it out or move out of the area where they dont have facilities. They really are crooks.

I would also like to find a membership for me and my husband for only about a year just to make sure we really want to do this. How do you "switch" your membership if I were to buy someone's remaining time?

Well, heres the scoop. If you dont want to sign a three year contract, the only way to do this would be to buy my (or whomever you decides) contract out. There is a one time fee of $195 for transfer and then you would have to pay the remainder of the individuals balance. Mine for example is $1100.00, so around $1295 divided by 17 months, which comes out to around eighty dollars a month after interest from a bank. Or no interest of you pay out of pocket. You dont have payments that would be paid to the gym directly. You would have the payments from the institution who loaned you the money only.

I see it like this: You save HALF because if you were to sign the contract for three years, youre in for $2516, plus the other fees at startup. PLUS youre not dreading the next three years in payments! THIS IS FOR TOW MEMBERSHIPS, SO THE AMOUNTS WILL BE DIFFERENT FOR ONE!

NFC is a rip-off. You can only transfer your membership once. So if you had bought your membership from someone else (like I did) then you are stuck with it, unless you move 35 or more miles away from a center. The best bet for you would be to go to the community center in Jeff. City and pay by the class. If you do sign up don't sign up for the expensive packages, they are not worth it. Most of the trainers don't want to work with you and could care less but, there are a few good trainers there and the childcare is a bonus if you need it.

I know they have a track, a pool, and they offer different types of aerobic classes. Not sure how much they are, I am thinking it was about 2.00 or so.

My husband and I have a memebership that runs out in December of this year that we would be happy to transfer to someone. As you all know there is a fee to transfer. I think NF is a good place to work out but we have been members for almost three years and have lost all motivation to use our membership. Contact me at [email protected] if you are interersted. Thanks.

I have a membership that is completely paid for that I refuss to use anymore becuase I can't stand the place. The staff is hateful and they don't care if you get fit or not. My kids are always begging me to take them down there to swim but I hate just walking through the door. By the way that child care that was mentioned is a joke 1-3 unqualified yound people watching anywhere between 20-50 kids at a time. I dont' think so.
