SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT HOW THE PILLS ARE BEING DISTRIBUTED THROUGH THE CLINIC.There dont have to be any thing wrong with you.You just have to know the right people.News reports that a family member of a lady working at the clinic was passed out while his 2year old was playing in the street.Any good envestigator could link the pills to the aunt at morristown pain clinic.LOGANS mother is a patient there and he was asking for a needle for her the night before the incident of baby in road.Someone please do something about this leagle drug distrabution center.

well for if the persons baby was wondering the streets what does that have to do with the clinic and if he was looking for a needle the night before would that not tell u he is doing the medication wrong anyway it is easy to blame someone else for your own mistakes yes pain medication needs to be controlled but alot of people do need it but it is people that abuse the medication that causes the problem be a real person step up and take responsebility for your own actions do not blame someone else for your mistakes it is easy to blame someone else now the clinic did not tell the person to take so much medication to pass out and not be aware there 2 year old had opened the door and wonder out plus there was a baby in the crib what about the mother that was passed out to so really who is to blame the parents i rest my case

YOU ARE NOT GETTING TH POINT THERE TRYING TO MAKE.The clinics are handing out those drugs to people that dont need them then thay end up in the hands of dumbasses we are discussing. What does that say about DRS that are prescribing these medications to 30 n 40 year olds. The last I knew the medications that people my age are getting cause there back hurts use to be precribed to cancer patents or the terminaly ill.Not hos that have TN care to get over on the system so thay can get there drugs cheeper to sale to this mother and father.

From what information I have gathered by talking to people in the nursing industry, oxycontins and things like that were intended for cancer patients who were dying or others who had similar illnesses and were at the end of their life's journies.

If that's true, how did pain clinics come into being and why are they able to prescribe such potent drugs to people suffering from chronic pain, or say they have chronic pain?

Seems to me that pain clinics only 'mask' the real problem people have. I have had chronic back pain for years and finally had back surgery last spring. I've got nerve damage from the constant pain and have no feeling in my left foot, but now the pain is gone.

I was at the point where something had to be done because the pain was unbearable. My husband suggested going to the pain clinic, but in my mind that was never an option because I wanted to CURE the pain...not mask it.

Could someone tell me why regular doctors can't prescribe pain medication? Why do we need pain clinics? We got by without them for years and years....

Money, money, money....My theory is keep people doped up and addicted and you've always got customers.

That is exactly what I have been wondering. Why don't the regular doctors prescribe the pain medication anymore??? It used to be that way. You got pain medicine from the doctor that was treating what ever ailment was causing the pain. Now they just treat the pain, not the ailment.

It isn't a real word. Check a reputable dictionary. There are online websites that also explain it is not a real word.

I decided to do just that and when I googled it I came up with just the opposite. Several sites identified it as an "old" word that is rarely used in the US anymore. Others identified it as a word still commonly used in other English speaking countries.

My husband, who is 60 yrs old goes to the morristown pain clinic. He is in constant pain and before going couldnt get out of his wheelchair. Now he is up walking, thanks to the meds they have him on. Couldnt get meds from his regular dr so was sent to the pain clinic. Yes I too am amazed at the younger people that come into the clinic. But I guess that you cant judge a persons pain just by looking at them. It is sorry that people that dont need pain meds are getting them just to make money off them. It makes it hard on the ones that really need them.

Duhhhr, geee it took me about four seconds before I figured out you was a druggie trying to figure out how much they do charge per visit with your goofy post. Yeah you figured someone who knew the true price would jump on here and say 'You're crazy, they only charge $??? per visit, didn't you?
You stupid druggies need to load up a needle with about 300 mills of oxy and while your at it add a half gram of blow in there and blast off to be with Michael Jackson and James Brown. Have you a big ol swell party. Dumbass.

I am truly amazed at the childish ways of some people. We all know that there will always be someone who abuses the system. There will always be some one who wants to push the envelope.....get it for free, abuse the system or whatever you wanna call it. I have been a patient of pain clinics, I broke my neck...3 times. Finally had surgery to fix it properly. Now I am not on any of the pain meds. I try to to have to take anything at all. But sometimes I have to break down and take something. Too bad for the children who are victims, pray fo the lost souls.

The regular Doctors are tired of being Pain Management Physicians and ending up in court left and right. The pill poppers have to be watched and regulated...hence you now have pain management clinics cropping up all over. The DEA is taking this crap seriously. The PCP offices do not have time to regulate and watch over these people. If you have true pain then you will go to these clinics and play the game to get your meds. However, on the flip side you have cheesy scum bag Physicians opening some of these clinics just to make a buck. Its crazy....
