Thank you for saying so. He's my cousin. You must have worked with my aunt at Lear. David was a good person and I think of him often. It's hard to believe it's been almost 18 years.

Well, I am going to consider 38 to young. A great frind of mine from high school was killed last Thursday in a car accident on I-75 between Philadelphia and Loudon, TN. Man, oh man, it would have been one thing if he were sick, but the suddeness and horrible surroundings of his death are just leaving feeling empty. We were planning our 20th reunion this summer, now it will be minus yet another friend.
scootch, sorry for your loss, mt best friend died 3 days after my b-day in 90, he got otu of the service in junes 90 and i got out in sep 90, a month later he died. we used to hang out all over the orient while in the service. the sudden loos is still shocking to this day. i believe if it had happened while we were still in the service, it wouldn't have been as bad.

btw when and were did you graduate, i know the class of 87 from east is suppose to have their this year, i don't know why they didn't have it last year.

I graduated in '88 from Knox Catholic. We are still trying to figure out what we are going to do in regards to a reunion. We had a graduating class of 71 people, so everyone we graduated with knows everyone else.

I hated to see Lear, Universal, Imperial, and Shelby Williams close down. Back in the day those where the places to work when you got out of high school and didn't go to college. Berkline is next to leave.

Lear hasn't closed down, they are down to around 200 people right now, i feel what they are doing is like they have done in the past, let it get down to the bare minimun of workers, wait till the contract comes up, then demand all of these cuts and threaten to close the plant, but back in nov, 07, they permenately laid off everybody they hired after 05, but they gave everybody that was laid off in dec 07 and after a temp layoff..which i got the temp layoff...

Nathan "Nate" Allen had it all sat up.
Lee Smith did the actual shooting.
Shannon Jarnigan helped to move the body, she is also the girlfriend of Lee.
Danielle "Cissy" Epps has a son by Don Jr. & pretty much helped get him to the hotel.
Im not sure about who else had something to do with it, look @ the top of this page & someone has a website that takes you right to the court documents about the case. its really long but goes into full details.

Brian Crider is the name of the boy that got killed. I was in the same grade as him. Kris Henry motorcycle wreck. Dale Purkey was killed in a motorcycle wreck. Jimmy Brotherton was killed in a motorcycle wreck. Chad Stepp in an automobile wreck. These guys would have/did graduate 1990-1993. Recently lost Kim Helton in an automobile wreck. These accidents didn't invovle drugs/alchol that I'm aware of.

I went to MHHS East between the years of 94-98 and every year someone got killed all by car accidents. Right now I dont remember the order but their names are Dustin Davis, Wesley Gardner, and Charlie Wllis. Dustin and Wes's were one car accidents I belive but Charlie was killed by a drunk driver named Bent Gilbert it happened at the gas station at Jay Bird road there used to just be a caution light there but now there is a red light. This really affected me, me and Charlie were friends his funeral was so sureel to me. I was in Walmart a few years later and seen his younger brother and I had to stop and collect my thought because he looked so much like Charlie.
