I went to high school with him and we were friends. I don't believe there was snow at the time of the accident. I could be wrong, but it seems like it was warm weather when the accident happened and it was close to the end of the schoolj year. I think he was driving his girlfriend's mothers car. Something like a camero or firebird. He was driving really fast or donuts or somthing and the car flipped. There was another guy in the car with him but I can't remember his name. He survived though. Wes was a really sweet and curteous guy.

Anyone remember a wreck down on Fairview Rd. back in 73 ? I think. This guy was flying and hit the bridge at the end, and killed two sisters Brenda and Caroline Parker. Real good friends of mine. Oh, he walked away, "Tommy Mellon". I also heard he wrecked a girl in Kingsport too, and messed her up pretty bad. Same year Larry Spencer died on Sulphur Spr. Rd. in a jeep. He'd just left my house. Got to fast and rolled it. There were alot more back then, can't remember all right now.

If she worked at Shoneys in Morristown, my mother and grandmother also worked with her. They still talk about her from time to time. It really hurt everyone at that restaurant when she died.

<quoted text>You were right about Ricky's name being Birchfield. His sister and I were friends all through school. Psycho's name was Allen Arthur. His mom and dad (Luthur and Irene) were well known for their "business" of bootlegging. The murders of Sandra Shiflet and her mother were never solved. I remember that well. Lowell Dean Collier was asleep on the couch in the house (on Debi Circle) and was not harmed. They also found a handgun in the house that had been used to kill another lady whose body was found in her car on the west end. Her dad was a deputy I think. I know he was at one time. Very strange case--makes you wonder why it wasn't solved.
I was just a kid and Sue and Sandy's next door neighbor.I remember like it was yesterday.Tragic

I lost three of my best friends in eight months about six yrs. ago.One of them being Tim Eastin.Tim was not leaving richard peters ,the tree he hit was almost directly across from richard. He was leaving his best friends house Red Mills and Red was following him out when Tim wrecked if front of him.He did not pick his car up at richards because I had just gotten through workin on it just a few hours before and I also drove up on the wreck.Another friend I lost was Duke along with Roger a little while after that.Day Day was also a friend and also family that I lost in those few months along with Big Dean.I have buried over fifteen friends and family since 1986.When I say buried I mean carried them to be put in the ground.I remember each and every person the way they were, and will never forget them. All the way back to the Orack wreck at the end of walters drive and cherokee dr.

Jeff Wilson died in a car wreck sometime in the early 80's. I was in the East Band with him. He was a great guy and taken way too early. Candy Rolan's life was ended much too soon by a drunk driver in VA. She left a young son who has dealt with this tragedy with many unhealthy vices. Not all of the names mentioned are alchohol or drug related, some are results of "accidents", but as we read these names and think of them, let's all try to be better friends to those around us. We never know when someone we love can be taken from us.

Sorry about the mixed-up facts about Tim E.
I won't say who told me that but you know him.
