This is my experience as well. Obviously I work at food city, but my fellow deli girls can be very rude. It might be a deli thing.

Overall, I think Ingles on the east end is the best, most friendliest grocery store in town. However, I have had to wait unnecessarily long at the deli and bakery myself.

You are right about them being rude, i used to work there and had to be at work at 5 in the morning and i was tapping on the door to let me in the old bags just stood there and looked at me and turned their heads by the way it was in the winter, so i just went home and they called wondering where i was at. IMAGINE That

I work there and won't eat in the deli on my lunch break, because by the time you get your food, your break is over.

The managers are horrible and the woman manager is a pathetic excuse for a human being. its a terrible grocery store with horrible employees and the baggers just stand around and talk to the girl cashiers tryin to sniff their pussies or something! It takes forever to get checked out there! Once i needed help in the bakery and the woman was no where to be found. i waited for a while until i finally had to go up front and have her paged. she was probably giving the manager a bj in the bathroom.

the last time I went to Ingles I had to get a money order and both the manager and woman at the service desk were rude to me.

I shop at both locations and I love Ingles. Never had even one bad experience in either store.

I was in there last Tuesday and I waited at the deli counter 25 minutes before someone came to help me. I told them what I wanted and they said 'ok, hold on a sec'.
I stood there for TWO HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES bere she came back and told me 'oh sorry I was on my break, now what was it you wanted?'
I was sooooo mad. I spun around and walked right out of there and went to walmart where they went the extra mile to make sure I was served in a courteous timely manner and they bent over backwards to be certain I was well satisfied.

Sounds like you all need to go shop somewhere else.

I shop there, including the deli and I have never had any problems and always fast service.

I don't think I would admit that I waited nearly three hours for something from the deli at Ingles. Something about this story seems a bit off.

Even if I believed that you stood in Ingles for that long, there's NO WAY I'd believe that you went to walmart and got some sort of awesome customer service. Uh-uh...ain't gonna happen.

Seriously. I could see maybe 15-20 minutes, anything over that and its your own fault.
