If he had done the same thing for the progressives it would have been a blowout hit. He did it for the wrong side that is all. Progressives were adamantly against the killing of our troops when Bush was president but are so appreciative of giving their lives for the chosen one. The predigest against conservatives is much more pronounced than the predigest against blacks ever was that is really clear that America is totally full of communist. MacArthur was correct in his action years ago and today we see how he was made into a fool by the people he was after.
The exposure is very evident now all you have to do is listen to phrases like “you didn't build that” to see the light they want to shine. You hear he was taken out of context well here is the context. If you didn't build your business then you don't own it. If you don't own it it becomes property of the government. If the government owns it it is the property of the elite. If the elite owns it you are a slave to the government. So all of you people that love this regime just vote it in for another term and we'll see what the business owners of America will do when they are told to surrender their business to the chosen one and GE its coming.

See not one word of truth to contradict the facts only attacks on me. The points i posted are very true and the fool that said Clint lied about what mitt said has no way to back that up either. As for war casualties its been proven that progressives don't care about them if their chosen one is behind the killing.
The myth of frank and dodd is in the congressional record.
I actually thought Clint was funny, but I heard that Bob Newhart has offered him comedy tips.

I'm still pondering your comment about Democrats being in control of "BOTH branches of government."

I also don't know why you keep referring to Frank and Dodd as demanding that "everybody deserved a house." If it was only them, then why did George W. Bush take credit for his "five BILLION dollar program that was going to make the down payments" for homes for people? Now, if you think it was insanity to give home loans to people who couldn't even afford a down payment, I will have to agree with you. However, I don't think that was ALL Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.(It just occurred to me that Paul Ryan actually is a genius; he has only seen two of his bills signed into law in 13 years in office. Neither of them had anything at all to do with you and me.)

For the record, I know WEALTHY and middle class people who lost their homes. Are we to paint them all with the same "loser" brush as you paint poor people who really thought they could manage to buy their own homes?

As for the war casualties statement, you, my friend are full of crap. I seem to recall the early 1960's when young people were out in full force protesting the killing of our soldiers as well as innocent civilians in Vietnam. Those people really didn't seem like conservatives to me, and we hadn't had a republican president since Eisenhower. Progressives continued to be against the killing when we invaded Iraq. YOUR side could only counter with, "I'd rather fight them over there than over here," although no Iraqis were trying to kill us. Just so you know, many Progressives are against the Obama Administration's use of drone attacks in Pakistan.

As for your comment about more people going on disability - I wouldn't doubt it. There are more people going on Social Security and Medicare, too, but that's because we Baby Boomers are getting old.

"Remember, politicians are our EMPLOYEES." - Clint Eastwood
Exactly Clint. Way too few people fully understand that.

Obama has no plan; done nothing. His economic program has been Bush's fault. Well Mr President, your time is over. Millions of unemployed will make sure you go back home sooner than later.

That was a very poignant speech that was right to the point and so true! Obama is in serious trouble this November and it is going to be great to see him "let go" as Eastwood said!

The President's chair has been empty for the past nearly 4 years while he continued to campaign, play golf, vacation, and travel to other countries apologizing. When he speaks he has to have a teleprompter. That was what Clint Eastwood was going for. Made total sense.

And why aren't we talking about the Economy? Oh yeah, Obama doesn't want to

and when somebody does not do the job, we got to let them go.
Thank you Clint for your honesty

Yeah, talk is cheap, isn't it? Especially when the "talker" isn't saying anything. Here are some articles that address the fact that although he talks a lot, Mr. Romney isn't really telling us anything:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/johnmcquaid/2012/...

That one asks the question, "What would a President Romney actually do?" because he sure hasn't told us anything other than he would cut taxes and cut spending without jeopardizing our nation's economy or raising taxes on the middle class.

THIS guy says he won't be able to do that. In fact, he says that Romney and Ryan's economic plans are disastrous:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/johntharvey/2012/...

But hey! Let's let a pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, anti-war Libertarian who has been married twice but fathered seven children by five different women tell the republicans who they should support.

I am neither republican or demorcat, but dont blame Obama for things he cannot do without the help of congress, The president cannot do everything bye himself. How soon people forget. I have wanted to say something about Eastwood ever since I saw him the other night, I am a senior, but not quite as senior as he is, I dread the thought of the day I will have to give up my car keys & other things that all people should abondend if they live long enough & loose the ability to do. Eastwood should be put out to pasture, I thought he acted like a DODDERING OLD MAN. Time for him to retire to his BIG RANCH, with his young wife & all the children he has produced with his different wifes & girlfriends. Before everyone starts ragging on me, I have raised a small family, I draw very little SS, I have worked at times with so much pain, I didnt think I would make it through the night. I have never taken any help from the goverment.I know couple of people now that are not even close to 60 that draw disabilily, they make more than I do, but still have the ability to smoke, drink, & run the roads. Judge Judy say's It is a GREAT AMERICA.

I hear all of this worry over what Romney will do but not one word about what the chosen one will do is that because you know he is a communist and support his politics?
I'm really surprised that a progressive would bash one of their own as a Let's let a pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, anti-war Libertarian who has been married twice but fathered seven children by five different women but when it fits their agenda they will bash anyone won't they?
Funny thing is the chosen one has Washington full of people just like this guy and they are proud of his picks.

Clint told the full truth and the progressives can't stand it the chosen one is a empty chair, empty suit and empty head.
He is led by the communist he surrounds himself with and reads what they tell him to read.

Don't you ever get the message to just stop repeating yourself and zip your lip. Try reading, listening and just relax for a spell. Clint Eastwood made a fool of himself and will always be remembered not for for his successful career but for the empty chair and his ramblings at the political convention and I just hope we remember which party threw him to the dogs.

By the way the "empty suit, empty head" was to the last person who held that position, along with the "Village has lost it's idiot". Make up your own references and I'm not buying the empty head and neither or you or you would not be crediting him with your one world government conspiracy theory.

There are lots of Hollywood has beens who are republicans and support republican candidates, such as (ugh) Church Norris, Ben Stein, Kelsey Grammer, Drew Carey, etc. none of which float my boat, but now if you want to talk of George Clooney, Ashley Judd, Betty White, and most of the network late night host that is a differnt story. They through their service to humanity and in White's case animal rights, have more than suck up roles in politics.

Just like i said you can't comprehend its a progressive thing he isn't credited with anything he reads what is written. In small words "others tell him what to say and write it down for him to read so he won't make mistakes he isn't smart enough to do as Clint and make a speech without notes on any subject.
Just like you he isn't at the top of any class.

Tater as usual you missed the setting up of teleprompters at the RNC, you really think Romney wrote his own speech and gave it without the teleprompters. Only Clinton can do that as was shown back when his went out during a state of the union address.

I am not crazy about either one of the choices, but I will take my chances with Obama. Romney has no idea what it is to strugle to get bye from pay check to pay check. He was born into wealth. He has million's stashed in bank's in other countries, where he dosent pay taxes. So if this is your knight in shining armour, GO FOR IT.

Obama is going FORWARD!
Obama said in 2008 - "Hope and Change"
Obama said in 2010 - "Yes We Can"
Obama says in 2012 - "It's the Right Thing to Do"
Obama says in 2012 - "Betting on America"
Obama says in 2012 - "You Didn't Build That"
Obama says in 2012 - "The private sector is doing just fine"
Obama says in 2012 - " FORWARD"
Now Americans can say, sorry Obama we don't have Hope for you, you
Changed things for the worst.
Now Americans can say - Yes We Can - Vote you out of Office in
November.
Now Americans can say - It's the Right Thing to Do - send Obama on
his way out the door in November.
Now Americans can say sorry Obama we Americans are not - Betting
on you!
Yes President Obama, Americans are looking FORWARD to you leaving the White House in November!

Obama, the libby demoncrats and the perpetual liars blame game. What a absolute loser. What about his failure as the President. As long as Obama is president this country is going no-where. Think about it, is Obama's divide and distract a good policy for the United States? That policy is more like one used in a third world country dictatorship than a 21st century democracy and super-power. This could get dangerous folks. Think about it. America does not need Obama's hope and change, it is not who we are or ever have been.

Count me and a few other million out of your synopsis, or actally the MSM brainwashing you got. I've read that exact putdown of Clint Eastwood in dozens of articles, but also read the comments so I know I am not alone in my opinion.

Clint knew exactly what he was saying, and did a darn good job of presenting it in a humorous way. The rambling was part of the act, for those of you that missed the point. I have NO respect for Romney or Obama, but I will always remember Clint as the great actor he was and still is.
