You all are talking trash about these employees calling them all pill heads and such but as I see it you all are living on topix which means you live at home with mommy and daddy or on welfare. Why don't you all get a life. I mean really. I haven't eaten here yet but I will be soon. I like to stay in my home and do a thing called COOKING. It's where you buy your groceries and prepare your food at home. So if you don't like a restaurant that's fine. Take your little ebt card and get groceries and learn to prepare a meal. Until your a food critic no one really cares about your opinion. Thanks. That's all for now

First of all Tom and Connie Moran are the owners. "I work for them" his brother Scott us the owner on paper and running the show. reason why to avoid paying taxes such as paying all employees under the table, not even providing. A 1099. Lets not forget the rutledge,Newport and recently closed 407 restaurants. That's why they close after 1 year to avoid uncle Sam. by the way they are the same scam artists that owened. east Tennessee wings they change the name to Smokey fountain wings........

Hello all! I know personally that this Smoky Mountain Wings is NOT owned by the people who were at the mall. A morristown family bought them out. Let's give them a shot before the trash talk starts. They are good friends of mine and good people.

I want to thank everyone for their comments. My name is Mike Reinhardt I just brought out Tom Moran part of the business. We are working to implement many changes to the business. We just completed a total remake of the menu which will be in place very soon. We also addressed the wing prices which should remove that concern. We now feel the wing prices are a great value with our prices well below buffalo wild wing prices. Over the next few weeks we will be decorating with lots of sports related items and Morristown related history items. Lastly I have been in retail for over 25 years I understand how important people are to a great business we will get this fixed. So please come see US during our grand opening we will have several Tremendous deals. Thanks again for your comments. Please continue to let US know how we are doing

When I was there I seen these Guy leave with 5 or 6 bottles of beer and drinking one when he was going out the door and they let him leave too. How can any restaurant let someone leave like that its ashamed. Smokey mountain wings won't last long. It's going to be another one hit wounder restaurant. Like we always have around here. I know I'm know I'm never going back.

I am going to guess that the customer you speak of carried that beer IN to the place and didn't drink it all with his dinner. He would then, normally, carry it back out. They do not have a license yet to sell either and have invited customers to bring their own. Would that be about right ?

Zena. You are correct until we get the licences we are allowing BYOB.. customers who don't drink all of their beer would leave with it

What kind of restaurant lets u bring your one drinks in. That is stupid. If u tried that at any other restaurant they would u ether make u leave or leave it in ur car. I have never heard about a restaurant that lets u bring ur own drinks. I've heard of clubs and bars doing that. But not a restaurant. So are they running a club or restaurant. Well I don't care anyways bc that place ant going to last long in this town. All they are going to do in this town is east money.

I tell yah what, I've ate at smokey mountain wings quite a few times and for the price they are by far some of the best wings i've ever ate. Sure any buisness just opening up will have some faults but In my opinion its the best place in town to eat. If your really concerned about people bringing in there own beers as opposed to a place that serves its own beers you should focus your worries elsewhere. Try the blackened they will blow you away.

I went there twice lately took an hour to get 12 wings and the waitress came to our table one time after we got the food .Rest the time she was playing around and dancing . very over priced and the food isn't that great . One guy waiter looked nasty the rest dressed alike but this guy was in pants way to big for him and nasty looking both times he wore a red A jersey and danced at some tables .I saw alot of very young looking girls there drinking beers and I have heard they don't even Id them.will be a good place to go to if they control the young girls and make the wait staff do their jobs .They had about 5 or 6 working tables and i know in the whole place there was maybe 10 full tables and not everyone was eating so no reason to take so long to get orders or refills on drinks ..

I just found out the guy I spoke of in the post earlier that wears a red jersey is supposedly head of the wait staff ..That is sad he should be dressing and doing better to show example to the rest of the staff .Very Very sad .I think the owners should make some changes or they will loose business .

High prices but they don't pay their waitresses . What I mean is for example if they make $2.13 an hr. and get 6hrs of work that day with $6 in tips do you think they pay them the difference to make minimum wage . Nope they are not. Some one needs to turn these owners in to the labor board or the Tennessee better business bureau. These people are not treating employees fairly.
I agree this is nuts noone can make it on those wages .bet you money the owners of this place would work for that much .they should give more or atleast make sure every table gives a tip because sometimes people don't get tips noone should have to work for that much its not right
