I have heard some people talking about this also. I don't know if it is true or not, but that it cost $50 to get in, but if you make it to the 4th floor you get $100. If anyone knows the truth and wereabouts of this place, please post.

The address is 111 North Main Street, Greenville Tennessee. There has been paranormal investigators at that location that claim there is a curtain that mysteriously blows in the wind. The curtains near the front desk sometimes blow in some invisible wind, since there’s nothing behind the curtains but a brick wall. Also, The Green Room in the dining section is also the spot where “Green Room Grace” snatches spoons from customers. They say it is haunted by a waitress the hotel was build in 1884 it began as a rail road hotel. So you know it has some stories to tell.

There are actually two old hospitals located in Greeneville. I think the one you may be asking about is the old Laughlin hospital. I have heard lots of stories about this place, especially the fourth floor. Had my own experience there once myself. Actually I think there are several different places here in Greeneville that are haunted.

I think you are talking about the Dickson-Williams Mansion at the corner of Irish St. and Church St. After Williams family ownership around 1900 it was the Morgan Inn until 1937 when it became Greeneville Sinatorium And Hospital . Does not seem to be much info out there about it being a hospital. I know for a fact that it was because I was a patient there in 1961 or 62 when I was 7 years old being treated for a stomach disorder. I still remember the place being a little spooky. Me a typical little boy I would get bored and sneak out of my room at night and finding stairs going up to what now I realize is the attic area from when it was the original mansion. What a blast. I moved from Greeneville in 1974.
