<quoted text>As disgusting as you make that sound. That is precisely what goes on inside of these places, yet people flock to it like hogs in a trough with no regard for their or their kids health. Not that that's any different than anything else they do, but c'mon this is sickening.
Where do you dine when you go out?

Honestly unless you are eating at home where you have prepared the food no place is that sanitary. Are you sure the chef or cook washed their hands after using the bathroom, are you 100% positive that you are not eating leftovers from the day before, are you sure that waitress did not just pick her nose and then handed you napkins? Buffet, fine dining, fast food....no one knows.

If you had to make a choice. Would you rather share your toothbrush with 2 people or 2,000? That's the difference. While one certainly doesn't know if the waitress didn't wipe a booger on your napkin. I'll take those odds anytime over thousands of people sneezing, farting, breathing, sweating, handling, and burping over my food.

I completely understand where you are coming from.I was just saying unless you prepare the food yourself it is hard to know exactly how clean any eating establishment is. I honestly can say I have never been in Golden Corral but one time, I did not enjoy the experience and have not been back. I like you thought it was one of the natiest places I had been in. There are really not that many great eating establishments in Morristown. I enjoy going to Knoxville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge when we choose to eat out.

I've never, and will never even enter Golden Corral. However, I do agree with you 100% that there aren't any places in Morristown to get a good meal. I too venture out to Knoxville, Sevierville etc. when I want to sit down and enjoy a good meal.

I agree. Knoxville has some good restaurants. I love Altruda's. We need a real Italian restaurant in Morristown.

We tried the one at the Strawberry Plains exit. Very good Italian cuisine but for some reason (probably age) I can't remember the name of it. Someone help me out!

LOL you can stick your bang bang in it. Just go to the bathroom and rub dikkcheese all over your fingers. Come back to the bar and start fondling all the strawberries hahahahhahahahahaha if you think about it, that really does happen so why not do it to them? Also, make sure you leave some sh*t on your fingers before grabbing a handful of marshmellows and strawberries then put them all back. hahahhaa
I did eat over there ONCE about a year ago. I was sitting beside this really fat family when the father decides to scratch his nasty aZZ with his bare fingers sitting RIGHT THERE. Well, I witnessed him walk up to the bread basket and FUMBLE through the bread until he found one that fit his liking. I threw up before I got to the bathroom and I've never went back to another buffet since. That was just ONE instance that I just HAPPEN to notice, so imagine all the other instances that go on just about every minute of every day.

When I went there I saw a woman pick up some rolls with her bare hands and then throw it back into the pile! I told the people that worked there and they romoved them and asked me to point her out. I was done eating! This is just what we see. Think about what we don't when we eat places.

I have eaten there and I did check their website. It says "Southern Roots Italian Heritage". They have some Italian food on the menu as well as burgers, Southern food, steaks, salads, etc. What is your point? Having a few Italian dishes does not make it Italian any more than having some fish makes it a seafood restaurant. Does serving a McRib make McDonald's a BBQ place? Long John Silvers' serves chicken....is it a chicken restaurant? What is P.F. Chang's to you?

Thanks for your observation though.

Those fountains are most awful things,
I wouldn't touch them on a dare;
They draw kids in like magnets -
Those little fingers have been where?

Little fingers have picked boogers,
And been in their mouth and nose,
Have scratched their dog an pet their cat,
And scratched themselves beneath their clothes.

And when they shit and wipe themselves,
Are we sure those hands are clean?
No craving could ever entice me
To the chocolate fountain machine.

Slowhand you are just too "full of yourself." I was simply trying to think of an Italian type food fare at the Straw Plains exit and the only one that I could think of was Puleo's Grille. If you have a better Italian recommendation at this exit then let the poster know what you think, as I was only giving my "2 cents." I mean you can't be right about everything, and I can assure you that most people don't eat shrimp and grits at this place.

Snobs, all of you! Willing to bet all of you have less than sanitary houses, most of you have animals climbing over your food prep area and have no clue as to a fine restaurant.

By all means take your taxes to knoxville so Knoxville can take theirs to Atlanta and Atlanta can take theirs to New York and New York to Europe.
