Hats off to the owners or management....the food was good but what impressed me is with a line for the drive through down the road and a packed parking lot they still got customers through quickly. Putting staff in the parking lot to hand out menus ahead of time and directing traffic was very smart and worked very well. I had a hamburger combo with onion rings and drink around Six $ and change very Reasonable .But the over all management of that place just amazed me! Hope it does well!!

Going to give it a try tomorrow. Heard good things about the food and prices but heard great things about the shakes. I know right now they have about 30 people from other stores here helping with the grand opening which is probably why it is running so smoothly. When they opened the one in Johnson City they put a major hurting on Wendy's and Pals. I think they will put a major hurting on crazy good as they are very pricey, good but pricey and I heard Rick the owner of Pals is really worried.

My wife went there today. In addition to food for herself and my son, she ordered a barbecue bacon double cheesburger for me, along with fries and onion rings, and a sprite...the receipt reflected the proper order.

She gets home and finds that they've given me a single cheesburger with ketchup only. My fries were tasteless. My onion rings were soggy and not crispy, although admittedly this could be because it took 10-15 minutes before they got to me. The sprite tasted like non-carbonated, lightly flavored water.

I found it to be mediocre at best. I'm told the corn dogs are excellent, though.

Everyone around here asks why restaurants do not do well in Morristown. Gee, could it be that restaurants do not actually prepare your orders correctly most of the time?

I'm guessing by the car line down the road and full parking lot that yesterday may have been there first day. But not for sure:)

Hope they do well, although it is the same franchisee that ram fazollis into the ground. My guess is that it will do well for a while then he will start skimping on cleanliness and capital and it will go the same way his last restaurant went. Sad.

Thank you. I looked on their website and they didn't have an opening date listed.

The smooth operation of any business like Cookout or Pals is truely based off the employees. Its about how serious they take their job, if not serious or don't care than obviously your food isn't going to be as good nor your order correct. If they are able to get a good staff put together at Cookout than I'm sure they'll do great. Me personally, I'm just glad to have something besides mcdonalds, pals, taco bell, and the rest of your typical work lunch food to eat now.

Wonder where crappy expensive burger from a truck will move to?

I would have loved to have saw crazy burger dude's face when they had more customers in one day than he has had since he opened.

Be watching for him and his wife to start making fake reviews on the place.

What? Why don't you try rubbing two brain cells together for once. You can't fake a registered username that's been active for 4 years, einstein.

excuse me brainiac.
Have you ever used a phone to get on topix? I am not sure about all them but on mine it does not show registered names like the computer version does.
I stand corrected you are not Corbin, but that now begs the question are you a friend or family of him?
Possibly just a suckup like mark rice.

But if non of the above it is possible you just got someone else's bag accidentally. As busy as they were it is very possible as no one is perfect.
Some like crazy burger dude think they are but they are not.

The rest of our food order was correct...and the receipt reflected the correct order (this was stated in my first post).

I have never mentioned the burger truck that you seem to fanatically concerned with, nor have I ever eaten there. This thread asked for experiences with the cookout place, I posted mine. Think twice before you call out someone without knowing what you're talking about.

again you are correct
I am fanatically concerned about the truck after a rather bad burger I got there and when I ask him to do something about it they got very defensive.
I will not go into details but I like my burgers cooked not bleeding. For the price I was expecting a 5 guys type burger but got a hospital cafeteria type.
With a very bad attitude on top of it.
I have saw he did remove the lady with the attitude from service to fries or something.
He also had a habit of pretending to be customers on here when his place was talked about.
Your review sounded like something he would do.

To "mechanically inclined" your so damn annoying, I don't ever post on topix, but I feel the need to this one time. All you do is complain about everything. I truly feel bad for the people in your life who have to feed off your negativity. If your not happy with anything in morristown, please feel free to go dig yourself a bitter dark hole and stay the hell away from us !
