You dont have to work there. You people that complain ALL the time about Mahle, kill me. If you hate it so bad. QUIT!!!!!!!!! Let someone that needs and wants to work take your spot. I'm sure Mahle would love to have you gone and someone else that is glad to have a job there. The ones that have been there for years fussing and complaing, wont go anywhere. There's no where else they could go and stand around and do nothing half of their shift and get paid like they do there. Clock in, do your job and shut up. I would take a cut in pay to work somewhere that I was happy, then stay somewhere that I was miserable.

No, not a boss. Just someone that's sick of all you whiners complaining about having to work. Go work @ McDonalds for $7.25 hr. and have all the time off you want. They'll work with YOUR schedule. When you can't afford all you "toys" anymore, maybe, just maybe, you'll wish you were back at Mahle.

Typical justification for treating people poorly,by Gawd if you don't like it quit. Doesn't make it RIGHT.

I'm not treated poorly. Yes, the vacation thing was a bit much, but I'm just thankful to have a job after being laid off for so long. They pay our insurance, which is something most company don't do. That saves alot of money. No one works that hard. If you worked in the fields for $8 per hour with NO insurance and NO benefits, you might change your tune. The one that do all the complaning are the ones that only work 5 out of 12 hrs. or 3 out of 8. But as long as your clocked in you're getting paid. Wheather you run 1 part or 100 you get paid the same. The ones that take 20 minute bathroom breaks, or always going to get coffee or sneaking out to smoke. They are the ones that complain the loudest. You knew when you took the job that there would be overtime and more than likely, you'd be on the weekend or 2nd shift. Suck it up, do your job and quit griping all the time. OR, you could: quit, find something that is strictly day shift, get paid alot less, but have family time, YOUR choice. If you feel treated unfairly, go somewhere that you think is fair. I guarantee you, everywhere you work, they are about making money, NOT making you happy. Mahle can't be all that bad, or they wouldn't have people whom have worked there for 30 years.

I was told in a meeting, that just about everyone that wanted to come back has been called back. There might be a handfull still, but we were told to tell anyone that wanted a job to put in a resume. But before you do, know that you will be working overtime, and you will more than likely be on 2nd shift or the weekend night shift. Mahle is a good place to work, you just have to be willing to give up alot of your family time. But if your on 12hr shifts, you'll have 3 or 4 days off a week, unless you have to cover vacations.

Why are you such a butt? Just letting anyone know that if they go to work there, what they need to expect. Those are what everyone fusses about, not seeing their families, working 2nd shift. I've worked 2nd or weekend for most of my time there. I've missed out on alot of family functions because I had to go to work. But, I had to provide for my family. I cherish the time that I do have with them.
