Chris Griffen is a good player he was on one of the mini tours yrs ago but he's not one of top three in the area. Andrew price would be the best if he still wanted to play. If I was looking for ringer I'd go with PJ Smith

Jungle fever bruce is my dad and as for not being worth a crap anywhere else. I'll put him up against any1 61 yrs old in town on any course. Iv'e played enough with all the golfers being talked about here enough to know in his prime he could play with any of them. Anyone who knows anything about golf knows that a course you play day in and day out your gonna play better. I played with andrew price in school and yrs after and he is by far the best thats come thru mtown. He doesn't play golf much anymore. If he did it would be a battle for second. Once again iv'e played with all the guys mentioned here and there all good golfers and most great guys. You couldn't go wrong with any of them in a scramble. My oppion on a neutral course PJ is the best. Oh and jungle my dad has shot 29 more than afew times on 9 and 61 for 18 more than once. I don't care what course you shoot those scores you can play anywhere.

I am no golfer, but I am sure you are right on this. I am friends with his dad, and have known Spencer his whole life. I watched him play baseball from 8 years old thru high school. They both are super athletes. BTW, Bruce one one of the best modifed softball players in the state a few years ago.

And going from golf to softball, I will have to say that golf is safer of the two sports but my friend Bruce Lewis played them both and from what I understand he was an outstanding pitcher on a modified fast pitch team that traveled all over the country to play ball. They went as far away as Washington State way out west. Bruce has told me some very interesting stories about some of the trips they took and none have been more interesting than a trip to Cherokee, North Carolina to play in a tournament. That trip turned out to be very unsafe as well as almost deadly for one or two of the Morristown players. It seems that you don't make the Indians mad on their reservation. I have heard the story several times told to me by friend Bruce. One of his players did get a knife in his midsection, I will not tell his name but I will say that had it not been for the fact that he was a very large and heavy man who some might say, obese, he would no doubt have died on the reservation that hot July night. My friend Bruce, escaped harm but only because of some fancy foot work and using his own shoe as a weapon. Oh what a night that must have been. You can be sure there were no sky rockets in flight and afternoon delight for the boys from Morristown that July night. I don't think the boys who played softball for Morristown on that team ever went back to smoke the "peace pipe" after that little incident. I love to hear the story but I am glad nobody was killed. I guess the Lord was with then and saw to it that all returned to Hamblen County safely but they would never return to the Cherokee Indian Reservation to play softball again. I think some have been back to gamble because they heard that was much safer.

That may have been a modified slow pitch leage they played in. Who knows, who cares? I am juist glad that I feel like leaving my house right now and go and deliver my meds to my sick and shut in friends.

Dillinger i agree with youre list except for brian croxdale I like brian and he is good golfer but he isn,t in top 10 several of the guys talked about here that play with him beat him on regular basis. Iv'e played alot with those guys out at oscars brian isn't in top 5 out there. Actually he plays as a b player in scrambles out there. Noone mentions rex shepard on here, Im telling you guys he is strong he is the best player out there at oscars and plays as well are better anywhere else. Buddy ronnie pack the standifer brothers and my dad can't play with him on regular basis. He isn't real long but great short game and best putter out there. I agree with your top three not sure about griffin being 4th Iv'e played with him some and don't see him as top5. Thank you sandy for the compliment. I have been playing some of my best golf latley other than rex im beating all the guys talked about from oscars on here on regular basis myself.
