We have NEVER said it was the tier 1's fault! Lear lied to you all 3 years ago and said we were never supposed to have been hired. But we were now LEAR needs to fix their mistakes they made. As far as the union committee tho I think they need to do a better job of representing ALL of us. Like I said Saturday they are picking and choosing who to grandfather in? I mean really??? Think???? Is that fair???

Blah, Blah, Blah - alll of u should wake up, the union is a business. And what ever is good for business, is what the union is going to do. US labor laws are the same with or without a union. You all sound like a third world company that has been treating you bad. Like the Union the Company is just trying to survive.

Excuse me???? They earned what? I worked for a company for 18 years and they closed the door! And want to know something to the end everybody was paid the same for the same job! So blow it out your butt!!! Nobody! And I repeat NOBODY made people stay there for as long as they have! That was their choice. That's the PAST tho LEAR needs to look at the future. Some one told me to come to this stupid site an read all this ive been with lear 26 years an what im reading on here is being put on here by a bunch of inmature 20 somethings ,when you took the job you were told what the pay is ,frankly its none of your business what the person who has put 20 plus years in is making ,you took it knowing what your pay is goin to be ,sorry just a fact,maybe in 20 years you will earn the right to grip !

OMG! I get so tired of hearing this! We knew what we were getting paid YES but NO we didn't know the pay difference. And excuse me!! When YOUgot your time in did you not make the same as the person beside of you? Yes! You did! You are so stupid and I will tell ya to your face!

just like the tier 2 folks that bid up and are making the same as their tier1 co-workers we were all told we could do that but now they say we made a mistake and no you want make the same. You are foolish if you think any of us would even be there had we known this to start with. As an employee with 26 yrs in you know they are not paying tier 2 what they should for what they expect us to do. STUPID!

Did you stand on the hill to get equal pay for your job that auto workers up North were getting.Did you work to establish fair working conditions for all employees? NO YOU HAVE HAD IT MADE! This UNION WAS ESTABLISHED BY THE HARD WORK OF EMPLOYEES THAT HAD HARDER WORKING CONDITIONS THAN ANY OF YOU HAVE EVER HAD.You came in after the union was here. You have never had to fight for a dime that has supported your families.Now that you are ask to fight for equal pay and benifits for your co-workers you are scared to death that you may have to give a little for someone else. Stand up and do what was done for you, fight for the same pay that auto workers get for the same jobs at other auto plants, like the union people that secured your futures.

IF THE UNION THAT YOU SUPPORT DOESN'T REPRESENT YOU EQUALLY, THEN THERE IS ALWAYS THE OPTION OF SUING FOR RETURN OF UNION DUES THAT WERE COLLECTED TO REPRESENT YOU ON AN EQUAL BASIS.THIS MAY WAKE SOME PEOPLE UP. THEY COLLECTED FEES FOR THE UNION TO REPRESENT YOU THE SAME AS ALL UNION MEMBERS. IF THEY DON'T THEN THAT IS FALSE REPRESENTATION AND YOU COULD SUE FOR REFUND OF FEES THAT WERE PAID TO THEM.
