Hit the hill! I will! At the end did you notice that the "buzz cut guy" said that Lear can enforce the contract and the UAW will go to court and fight and it will take years blah, blah blah..It sounded like this is Lear's "best and final" offer. I voted NO! I am "Tier 1" but I would like everyone to have the opportunity to make what I make. I could care less about a "bonus". That is just a monetary carrot to throw out to people that only see $$. It is a drop in the bucket to Lear. And also, the "buyout" is a joke. The committee could have negotiated a lot more on that as well as just pushing it to the side. I talked to one person that will be "grandfathered" in and he said it would benefit him, but would not vote yes until others had the opportunity to at least have some hope of bidding on a higher paying job! Stay strong! Don't let them scare you! Them, being "the capitalist, corporate thieves!

Im making $9.40 per hour, I use to make $24 per hour up North under a Union Contract. After they,(including me) kept voting down the contract. I was young then and was caught up in all the BS the older hands were telling me, "hang in there, its for the greater good", "its not about basic human rights, its about being together and supporting each other", BS BS BS. The company sold out to one of there suppliers and they brought in there own. Guess what, No More Job for us young puppies. The older ones were offered jobs. So after losing my house, I moved South to find a job. Now I barely get by feeding my family. If you don't have any trade skills and depend on factory work, the union and all the union yupies will help you right out of a job. My experience. No bashing. Just FYI. If your bashing then you have to be a Union Yupie.

All of need to keep the UAW in our plant. If not, we will ALL be working for minimum wage! BTW what is minimum wage? Do not let this bust up our Union, which is US! Thank you.

I am watching "Norma Rae" right now. I suggest each of you watch it also. This is a movie, a true story about "Unions". You think it is hard now, just watch this. Keep your smart-ass remarks to yourselves till you see this!

I don't think she has. Probably hired this year. They lured us there under false pretense saying oh you start at only $10. an hr but you can bid after 60 days on higher grade jobs and make $15.45. Now they say oh we made a mistake, you can bid but you don't get the pay tier 1 gets.Only a handful of people were able to bid up and get the same pay as other co-workers doing the same job. Had I known this I for one would have never gone there. I was making more money where I was @ with no union. What up with that UNITED PEOPLE. Tier 2 has been standing up for tier 1 wants and would go on the hill for them, but 93 of em don't care about any tier 2 people. It is obvious. 1st vote 62 of the yes voters voted no then comes 2nd offer nothing changes and those 62 vote yes, so therefore it aint about one for all and all for one or we're united, it's everyman for himself. I predict this will be the last contract they'll have to vote on cause clearly the company has achieved it's goal to divide us so I doubt union will be there much longer. If tier 2 have no representation and no support from their so called brothers and sisters then why give them our money for nothing. When their wages start creeping back to what ours is then they'll wish they had really been united. UAW- thought it stood for US, but I guess that's only if your tier 1. I do appreciate all the tier 1 people who stood with us again and hope that you will continue to do so. Thank you.

This is to all you cowards that voted yes. At the very least, the ones that voted no can say we didn't bend over and hand Lear the lube. Brave people would rather die fighting than live on their knees. Thank you to all that did vote it down again.

You keep blaming teir 1 people and the Union. Who the hell hired you and Lied to you? The company. They've lied forever and will continue. Keep running your mouths and the contract will go through. I voted no always have but I'm about ready along with a lot more to say the hell with Teir 2 if you wanna keep run your mouths on us. Better get used to the fact that Lear will use you until they don't need you anymore and kick you to the curb Teir 1 or 2. So what if someone voted yes. You think 27 new hires that got job bids aren't voting yes. If you do you're pretty gullible. I hope all of you get teir 1 pay but put the blame where it belongs.
