Which restaurant has the worst service in town? I love to eat at IHOP when out of town, but ours has the sorriest service I think I've ever gotten in a restaurant. Food is good, when you ever do get it..

Ruby Tuesday's use to be one of my favorite place to go back in the early 80's. They only had a few locations with the one on the strip being the best. The food and service was great back then, since they have gone corporate the place is my least favorite.
It's kind of like the Pizza Inn here in town, since they have changed the place I might go there once every six months. I really liked the old signs and all the wood, plus you had a lot of privacy at each table. I think that's where I went on my first date. Now the place has zero character.

I agree with you about the Pizza Inn, my husband and I use to go there about once a week. We do not like the food or the atmosphere at all Now. I wish the management would take a hint to this. It is like a cafeteria now

the pizza inn restaurant now mimicks Ci Ci's pizza in knoxville and tri cities.. yes, pizza inn has no character whatsoever... no privacy at all... and the pizza actually sucks compared to earlier years.

I went to IHOP once, and I will never go back again! My family and I went around 10 P.M. we took our order, there was no one else there. It took 2 hours for us to get our food! We left around 12:30 A.M. It was horrible!

I would say the Sagebrush on Morris Blvd. has the worst service.

It's hard to find good service or good food in Morristown. I can't think of one place I would go for a good steak around here. I have to head over to exit 407 to the Chop House for anything decent. The Fox and Hound in Newport use to have good food but since the original owner sold it the food has gone down hill. If someone opened up a really good place, it would stay packed. If someone knows of a place to get a good steak around here please let me know. I think I've tried them all and I don't know of one.

What ever happened to the "Speak Easy" in Newport.I had no atmosphere, plus a sign on the wall that read,
"We Ain't Slow
We Ain't Fast
we're Halfassed"

They had to have had the best steaks I can remember.
As far as The IHOP , the only time I ever went there was to sober up after leaving "Uncle Sam's" in K'town. Rooty Tooty Fresh And Fruity, indeed. LOL

My husband and I have recently given IHOP an a.k.a. It is now known to us as "IWAIT". We never go there if we are in a hurry or if it is late.

CedarHill...one of the owners died on his way home from work about two years ago.
The same owner as Hillbilly Cabin own's it now I think.
The Fox & Hound use-to be about a hours wait.
Not any more...be lucky if 40 people there on the week-ends now (at night)
Grease Rack has a better steak I think.
Not everybody thinks like I do when it comes to eating or service. Every one has there fav.

need to try Carvers Applehouse Restaurant in Cosby. Steaks, Chicken, and those little apple fritters are to die for. Make sure you get some of there homemade honey mustard for those fresh chicken tenders. It has become one of my favorite restaurants. Takes about 40 minutes from M'town. Prentice Sexton was the past owner at Fox and Hounds that made it what it was. He sold to the Hillbilly cabin folks and it has not been the same. I hear that his sister has started managing there, so maybe it will get better.

I'm my earlier post I asked about a place called the speak easy. I was the grease rack! I was in an old gas station, and had a little window they would open, and peak out at you. They served dranks......
That always reminded me of the Speak easys during prohabition. My bad.....
