My neighbor's dogs are obviously unaware of any such ordinance.

Here is a link to the Morristown City Codes. But, I don't believe there is anything in the Animal Control Code about barking.

There is no such thing as a "continous dog".

Pellet rifles work great on barking dogs. Sting them a few times while they are barking and they stop barking quick.

There is a law ,and all you have to do is call the sheriff office . They will send an officer out and he will sit for about ten minutes,if the dog is barking he will offer them a barking collar to use and if that don't take care of it , he will fine them every time they come back out

I was the only person to stand against this when county commission voted on it. My commissioner is a liar and named Guy collins

I coon hunt and, sometimes it may take you 20-30 minutes to get to your dog. I just think this law is taking another one of my rights as a hunter.I don't want to go to where my dog is treeing and find a deputy waiting on me ,because my dog is barking...

You can't hunt in the city limits.

my cousins [email protected]* neighbors are the people who originally complained to the city about this.and they are the ones who pushed to get the law passed.my cousin raises dobermans and yeah they bark like any other dog.the funny thing is her neighbors complain about the dogs barking but most of the barking was because the neighbors were shooting bottle rockets at the dogs..id bark to if someone was shooting fireworks at me....IDIOTS...

You can't fire a gun in the city limits, and it wasn't put in place for the city...It went through the COUNTY commission....

Anytime a new law is put in place it takes some form of your rights away..

Well... I tried... and since it is 2:45 in the AFTERNOON...they can not help. They only go out from 11:00pm til 7:00am for dog barking. This info came from the Animal Control because the sheriff dept. told me to call them. Rampling Hills pet owners pls calm your pet down. :(

Jaybird Road - several coon dogs - all the time. You can't sit outside, you cannot be outside, forget sleeping with the windows open. The people who own these dogs are obviously determined to make sure they show everyone who the boss is and to add to it I think they are not only crazy but also dangerous. City has been out here and as I understand they have received a citation. Of course if the justice system is anything like it is for criminal activity, the victims of the dog barking are fighting a losing battle.
