Obama saw welfare recipients as ‘majority coalition’

Those positions encompass issues as wide-ranging as gun control, universal health care and welfare reform. Obama also said he viewed welfare recipients and “the working poor” as “a majority coalition” that could be mobilized to help advance progressive policies and elect their champions.

Remove the concept of violent revolution (maybe, maybe not), and this is a paraphrase of the Communist Manifesto.

In the twilight of President Barack Obama's first term, many polls, including a new Quinnipiac University tri-state survey of likely voters, show that most Americans say they are not better off than they were four years ago. But in those same polls, the president retains his edge over challenger Mitt Romney.

That's not normal, says Quinnipiac University pollster Peter A. Brown.

"Most times if voters think things haven't gone well, they say,'Let's think of somebody else.' But at this point they're not saying that," Brown said. "Clearly they think [Obama] is more in tune with their lives."

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/voters-wor...

Why? Because the US is controlled by the Feds. They control the media and election machine. They select the politicians to control the government. That's why even Clinton did a good job in his last term, Bush won the election. What the Feds needed was not a good economy, they need war and the Patriot Act. Several month after his election, 911 happened which satisfied what the Feds needed.

This time, Obama will give the Feds something Romney can't give. So you saw Romney is under the fire of media despite the life of Americans is worse off after four years reign of Obama.

Personal opinion; Romney is a really bad choice. We live his lifesyle and money, but just don't like him as a leader. He hasn't a clue as to how the rest of the world lives. We don't trust him and we don't trust the right wing nuts who have don't nothing to help rebuild the economy or create jobs. I especially don't like his cute running mate, who is just a ladder climber and a little smarter than the last republican vice presidential candidate.

The Democratic Party has done more to enslave blacks in the last 20 years than all the plantation owners in the last 200 years. They have put the blacks into the ghetto's and dependant on government welfare. Obama should be ashamed to have been a part of making it worse. What will happen to the blacks when the money runs out and they are all stuck in ghetto's with out food, water, electric, and cable to keep them stupid? Will they go out and earn a living, or burn down thier homes and resort to tribal mentality such as gangs to steal and take what they can? Instead of making blacks stupid and dependant , why not spend that money on teaching them a career, or atleast put them on work farms to tend fields again. Right now they are just slaves to the gov. who will give them a candy treat for a vote once every 2-4 years.

While I will agree with you that many of the "Great Society" programs have been abject failures and I think everyone who is able should work just like I do, I really, really wish you all would stop lumping all African-Americans together. Sure, some are lazy and out to get what they can for free, but so are lots of European-Americans.

Many of the people with whom I work every day are African-Americans, and they are intelligent, hard-working individuals who are nothing like the people you reference. Some of our para-professionals work TWO jobs, because their pay is too low to support themselves and their families.

Do you like it when people in other parts of the country think that everyone from East Tennessee is uneducated, chews tobacco, has no teeth, has ten kids, and doesn't wear shoes?(That IS what some people think, by the way.)

I've never been in a Welfare office in Morristown or anywhere else for that matter, but I would be curious as to what percentage of their clients in Morristown are African-American.

Amazing how you can pinpoint blacks, take a look at your own uneducated pill heads . It started during the Reagan years, when he emptied the mental hospitals, bi-passed unions and encouraged credit card debt. Anyone including animals were offered credit cards and this generation of over indulging parents got on a spending high not thinking of a future for their families, then when the bills came due they turned to drugs and what do you expect. It isn't a black or white problem, it is a culture feeding on material items, expecting more of the government and thinking because Romney has money they too will be back in the black.

Sorry to break it to ya but there are alot more white people dependent on gov than the black population. You obviously do not know what the hell you are talking about.

Sure if your counting totals, but do it as a percentage of that population by color. Blacks are by far a larger percentage.

You know full well by now that I just pull the chain to see what dogs will bark on the other end. I also know and enjoy the company of a very diversified group of people. I will admit to enjoying playing the part of dumb hillbilly though. I wouldn't give 2 cents for Obama or Romney.I do agree about Hillary Clinton, she was probably the best choice all the way around last election. We still don't see eye to eye on a few things, but I would bet were closer than ya think sweetie.

"A Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists. From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage -- the political paradise of communism." p.10

"Obama learned his lesson well. I am proud to see that my father's model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his 100th birthday." --Letter from L. DAVID ALINSKY, son of Neo-Marxist Saul Alinsky

Rare off-teleprompter moment lets us see the real Obama:

" ... look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something -- there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there."

"If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."

Barack Obama. Roanoke, Virginia July 13th, 2012.

that is interesting. Where I work there are people from all backgrounds. The ones I work with and who they are supporting include (these are people I work with daily, I don't know about those at work who I don't see everyday). Three black people all for Obama. Three women with husbands all for Romney. Four women without husbands, three for Obama. The one gay worker (the one I know of because he lets us know constantly) is for Obama. Two who are church leaders are for Romney. One who hates Christians is for Obama. I would guess that those who get most of their livelihood from welfare are probably for Obama bur I can't prove it. I would guess that most hardworking people with children will vote for Romney. All these Obama voters together probably make up most of the 47%. Seems like our coutry is not really about the haves and the have nots. It is more like the workers vs. those who won't work because the government makes sure that those who won't work still get lots of stuff like free rent, groceries, phones, medicaid. Being poor in America is a joke compared to most of the world.

Clint Eastwood has given the best picture of Obama so far, the Empty Chair. Look at Obama first debate it was embarrassing for the Democratic Party. In the second Debate he was awake but couldn’t tell the truth on any subject covered. From his Oil Policy to Libya he lied.
Obama an eloquent speaker with a teleprompter. But lacking in so many ways. Obama the king of it’s blame Bush or the republicans I didn’t know how bad he was.
Obama feeds us that line: "I inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression!" Says who? I didn't see it. The 70's were MUCH worse than this. I know; I was there. Reagan fixed that economy in his first term. Obama has no legitimate excuse for his failure with the economy. He got every tool he asked for but he couldn't get the job done.
Vote Romney and kick the oblamer out.

I hope Romney asks Obama tonight if the attacks on the embassy in April and June were also caused by a video. Also , I hope Romney tells Obama that he is outraged that 4 Americans were killed because Obama wouldn't send enough security. Also, Romney should ask Obama if the murder of soldiers at Ft. Hood was a Terroist Attack instead of Workplace Violence as Obama has claimed.
