I know that Bruce Campbell has been at the Little Dutch by the pictures there and Little Man Stewart came from M-town, but was curious if any other famous names have been in or lived in Morristown?

Jagne Wagner is a famous writer and producer from Morristown, and is also the life partner of Lily Tomlin. She has won THREE EMMY AWARDS, and numerous other awards. Her grandfather (or, it may have been her dad) founded the Miller-Boyd School, which is not longer in existence.

She used to write a lot of Lily Tomlin's material on Laugh-in and created the character of "Edith Ann" the little girl that sat in the huge rocking chair, and she also wrote a lot of the movies Lily was in, for example, "The Incredible Shrinking Woman". She also wrote and produced "Moment By Moment" with John Travolta. Incredibly talented lady...

Calista Flockhart's parents live in Harbor Point in Morristown. Calista, her son, and HARRISON FORD frequently visit Morristown. They have been spotted @ Ronnie's Restaurant and in a few gas stations and stores.

Bruce Campbell is on "Burn Notice". He plays Sam, the semi-retired CIA sidekick, and former Navy Seal to Michael Weston. The show is on USA.

He was also in the cult classic, "Evil Dea", which I have been told, was filmed in Hamblen County.

This old man I used to work with told me that Elvis Presley came through Morristown once on the caboose of a train. He also said that this woman who was so infatuated with him ran down the tracks screaming for him and lost her shoe and fell on the tracks. Can you imagine the crowd to see Mr. Presley coming through our town??

Kathy Garver was here a few years ago and starred in WSCC's production of "The Glass Menagerie".

And Encore has had a few Broadway stars come in to do workshops and concerts: Marin Mazzie, Jason Daniely, and Liz Callaway. Sutton Foster will be here this year!
