If you want a great hair style go to Jodi Smith at First Impressions. She did wonders with me! She takes her time and always does a good job. She's a sweetheart, too!

Jodie is good...I've never actually used her but I do use Sherry Martin (the owner of First Impressions) and I have seen Jodie's work and she is sweet. I'd have to go with Sherry though...since she had done mine for years, she is also a sweetheart!

I like Sherry, too. She does very good work and is also a sweetie. But, she doesn't take into consideration that most people are on a time schedule. You can NEVER get in when you are supposed to. But like I said, I really do like her.

I know what you mean. I always have to wait also, but I think it is because she seems to enjoy talking to her clients and she always does a great job, so I think it is worth the wait.

He's been helping fat girls look good since 2004. He has mastered the Ozone-plow, and blonde with black roots style. Rodney C. has taught him well. LMAO

I am curious - is that really some hair color or cutting technique - the Ozone-plow. Heck that blond with black roots style - didn't know that was anything new! I've been seeing that for about 50 something years.

No the ozone-plow as been around that long to. You know the hair length goes to the shoulders, but it is teased and hairsprayed so thick that bugs get caught in it and can't get out. LOL.

I am glad someone started this thread because I am looking for a hair stylist. But so many of them cut too much from your hair! When I say 2 inches, I mean 2 inches, not 4. Maybe I'll try some of these recommendations. Thanks.

Ron Bowlin, hands down.
He teaches now, so he can only cut my hair on the rare occasion he has free time.
The man's a genius, and charges next to nothing for what you get.
I highly recommend him.
