I feel sorry for them and even more so for their families. Pill abuse is an awful sickness, yes I believe it is a sickness.I havent ever been addicted to any kind of pills,my downfall was alcohol and thank god that is gone now but it still took some things from me. I am getting better day by day and very greatful too.
An addiction takes everything from you even and worst of all your love for life. I once loved to just listen to the birds sing, rivers and creeks run. I enjoyed watching the falling leaves, watching my grandfather carve on an ol' stick and the wind blowing through the old willow tree. Simple minded I know but I miss the innocence of life. Did I just grow up or did the alcohol trully rob me of that simple plan?
I am not saying to set any of them free because it is wrong just like I was wrong. We all deserve the punishment for our wrongs. I just would not wish any addiction on anyone that is like wishing for them to die. Afterall it does kill the heart of some once very wonderful and caring people.

I agree with you, drug addiction is a sickness..I have seen family members suffer with this and it breaks the heart of everyone who cares about them..It is heartbreaking what some of them have to go through to get free of the addiction, but it takes what it takes. So, I pray that these people who have been arrested will be brought back to reality and find a way to restore their sanity, and hopefully this will be it for them, or they will be on the path to a better journey to life. It takes a lot to get there, I am thankful for you that you made it through. God bless you. Sometimes things happen to people to teach them compassion and emphathy for others. It sounds like that has happened to you..Again, God bless you!

How is it a joke? They get the low level ones first. They've never been in trouble before. They're scared. They rat on the big time dealers. Sounds pretty smart to me.

If you run there names in the TN sex Registry, you will find not only is at least one a "low level offender" as you call him, but also a convicted sex offender. hmm, now we calling 'em low level offenders? Maybe if the justice system had not failed, he would not have been selling and dealing pills.

Ok stupid people. They didn't arrest the drug "Users". They arrested the drug "Dealers". So.......you feel sorry for the drug users cause they're dealer is in jail? no wait, you feel sorry for the dealer cause he/she can't buy that Lexus for xmas this year? I personally am grateful to the sheriff department for doing something. The problem isn't fixed but it sure put a dent in these drug dealers xmas plans.
thanks

Thanks for the info. I ran about 8 names from the paper before coming to the one that is on the registry. I only live 2 miles from this perv. I have 2 small kids so thank you thank for this info.

The list of names was in Sunday's paper, along with the ad. Page A-8 I think is where the article was continued. it gave names, ages, address and their charge. Glad I saw the info about the registry. that person was right, one of them is on it and lives within 2 miles of me.

It's not a joke and I agree with you. However, wouldn't it make more sense to cut the head off of the momma snake than to just get the baby snakes? If you get the momma first, she won't make anymore babies!

I don't care if they just got one pill, lock them up and let them sleep on the concrete floor. They all sit around and talk trash about the law and how they ought to be able to use pills if they want to. I don't care if them druggies are so crowded in at the jail that it's like a box of sardines. They're scum and they need to be shown we aint putting up with scum slouching around town gobblin pills like they are candy. They are no good thieves, robbers and scammers. They aint going to quit until they go through enough misery and they get tired of it. So pile the misery on them druggies and maybe they'll get tired of it and decide to go straight.
