Yes Telford coached the Silver Eagles because Cameron plays for them, we know they will grow up to be Spiders. I am talking about the travel team that Aaron plays for... You know the 12 year old team, come on lets hear you say it
ok....here goes. telford rymer did not coach his oldest son's travel team. how hard is that to understand?

I have two Nephews who are the same age and both play travel ball. One for David Stout's (team) the other for another local team. I went to the tournments to watch both boys which were in the same tournment at the same place but never played each other because of different divisions. I always took that to mean they rated it on skill levels of the teams. Clearly there is a huge skill level difference between Stout's team and my other nephews team. David's team is terrible. I feel sorry for those kids. My Sister said that her son would not play next year if he could not get a better coach than that. They pay too much money for the half A** job the Stout's did. They let their poor child play second base or short stop it really didn't matter because he couldn't catch a cold out there. They would stick one of the best catcher out in the outfield and leave THEIR son playing somewhere he clearly couldn't play. If it were my child I'd be afraid he'd get his head knocked off. Yea they did earn every trophey they have won, but for someone to say they played teams such as the Silver Eagles and won, would be a huge LIE. I would say the Green Machines and the Royals could beat them with very little effort, any one who chooses to say other wise needs to open their eyes and see the big picture even if it dashes your dreams about your son becoming a real baseball player.
excellent post. i think there is life out there after all.

He is an excellent coach who coaches all kids not just the stars. Does anyone ever think about how these so- called stars get there its by throwing, hitting, playing catch every day Lots of people could be good coaches if they had dedication.
my confidence in you guys is growing. another great post.

Everyone has a right to their opinion but I think sometimes we get carried away and just get plain mean. Also I think children should be off limits! Putting their names on here way over the line!If you have a such a problem with these coaches take it up with them but leave the children out of it. I had a child who played several years ago and encountered these same problems. I always went to whoever I had the problem with and even if it did no good I still never brought a child into it. They are innocent and life is hard enough for them these days anyway. Hope it gets better for you all anyways.

the best player on david's team didn't make it when he tried out for the silver eagles. that should tell you something.
Actually I know one kid on davids team that Lonnie wanted. Why does this have to be a competition...all of these little boys who play ball want to play and have fun. Why do people have to bad mouth little kids.

Well...3 of Davids travel ball players were on the tadpoles and if I remember correctly the tadpoles BEAT the Royals so dont be too sure of yourself. Whats wrong with these little boys playing ball and having fun...why do people have to bash kids

Take a look at the 11's Nationals now and you will know they are not a joke. They are a great bunch of boys with talent. They beat a good 11 year old Morristown American to go to the state tourney. They are still in the state tourney and playing their hearts out. They beat a tough Johnson City team on Monday and I wish them the best of luck tonight as they try for another win. We should be proud that they are doing good. We should be proud of all Morristown teams.
and guess what? those same little "fat boys" on the 11 year old nationals won again tuesday against a really strong greenville team. These boys are in the top five or six in the sate now. Who's laughing at them? not the person who orgnially started the discussion about how they sucked. These kids play again tonight and win or lose, they are no joke. They rock and I for one am very very proud of them. Good luck boys
congrats

The tournament is down to the last four teams. Morristown National 11's play Clarksville tonight in the loser's bracket an Lexington plays Columbia for championship of winner's bracket afterwards. If Morristown wins tonight, they will play the loser of Lexington and Columbia tomorrow night. I can honestly say I am proud of these boys. Even if they lose tonight to Clarksville, they would still be fourth in the State of Tennessee which is amazing. I hope they can carry their momentum into tonights game and win. All the Morristown teams are talented and wonderful kids!

If i'm not mistaken the royals had 3 kids missing that night because they had already clinched the league. The royals would have beaten the tadpoles by 10 runs if the entire team would have been there.

You have to be joking right? Did you actually see them play without looking through your rose colored glasses? There were maybe two players with some skils to be considered, but their attitude and sportsmanship would not be something I would want to voluntarily take if I were picking the AS team. The rest seemed to have better attitudes even thought the were creamed every game, but they were far from "star" material. My guess is you think your child should have been picked for the team and have not gotton the call, well let me tell ya - I dont think there is any way you will get that call so go ahead and cry your little heart out sister.
This post sickens me but it is nice to know this guy/girl doesn't know anything. There is a kid on the 11 yr old Allstar from the Yankees. He is a good kid and plays great. He has a good attitude and the coaches have no problem with him. He hit a 3 run shot in the district tourney and hit another 3 run shot this past Monday to win the game and keep the team in the state tourney. So eat your own words.

Those were the kids that kept striking out. They scored only 5 runs, not exactly something to be proud of in a coach pitch game. Our royals were missing 3 good hitters that made a huge difference in the lineup and also the other kid's attitudes. The royals had scored over 10 runs in every game this season until that one and it wasn't the tadpole defense doing anything to stop them. Ask any other team in the league and they will laugh if anyone suggests the tadpoles are better than a full strength royal team.

I believe that a win is a win. No matter who wasn't there or how good or bad they played it is still all the same. A win is a win. It is hardly the Tadpoles fault if they were underestimated. But both teams did a great job and should be very proud. Congratulations guys!

The only thing that was underestimated was the crack heads that you had sitting along the fence not only cheering for your team but loudly against little boys. Yeah, real class Tadpoles! Way to be proud of yourselves...really big win. What a joke!!!!! Better be careful one of the loud mouths might put a hit out on me too!!!!!!!!

Why is it so hard for people to just accept that they lost? Is there really a need for name calling? I really hope no one was yelling against little boys but if they were shame on them and that is not what the game is about. I heard no such yelling but obviously wasn't listening to everyone that would be impossible. Still doesn't take away from the fact that the Tadpoles won!
