Food Stamps & Disability

I know the food stamp program is abused, but there are honest people that really need them. I want to know why some people on disability or not viewed he same way. 3 people that shouldnt be on disability ( they are at least 50 yr.) One can go out & dance the night away, One can do all kind of handy man work) The other has been on disability for long time ( before the age of 45) this person must stay at the computer, because all I see on their facebook page is derogatory comments &cartoons making fun of Obama, then the next several post you see will be about their christiany. They act like they are real good christians, but dont have a problem bashing anyone that dosent agree with them. I have been wanting to express my opinion for awhile now & wonder if anyone else knows people like this.

Yes. If you can define their disability, you could have a better perpective of their habits. For example, a small woman with degenerative bone disease might be less inclined to go out and dance the night away. I have no idea what Christianity has to with disability or food stamps. Perhaps, put your own religions or beliefs into perspective.

You must have been turned down for stamps or disability.What church do you go to and sit up front.Yes,there is alot of abuse to these programs but who are you to judge.I would bet also you get any thing you can for free.If more people like you would practice there religon insted of worrying about what others are doing that say thay are christan.The world would be a better place.

I have never taken anything FREE. I worked my a** off raising my family & just barley getting by. When I started this thread I thought I might get some intelligent replys to this question. I dont go to church, I am unable to walk. I wanted to know why some people sit around, complain about intitlements the goverment gives, but at the same time they are accepting them. I was talking about the 3 people I know of that is on disability. The comments about religion was about 1 of the people always putting degrading comments & cartoons up making fun of Obama.( then right after that you would see a lot of post talking about christians, & how religious they were) I should have know better to start anything on here. I also have fibromyalgia, but I dont get disability, I get by on 700.00 a month from Social Security, I worked in pain until I was able to retire.

since you get social security you won't get disability on top of it. It's not an 'extra' check, it is instead of social security until you reach retirement age. Maybe now that you know some more facts, you won't feel so put upon.

Fyi...fibromyalgia what a joke.look it up.it is not a true condition. 20 years ago before people had " rights to be free of pain" the definition was chronic complaints by a patient of pain from which there is NO origin.yes nowdays it is listed as a medical condition thanks to folks who rallied for you.ask most doctors.its simply you being depressed which leads to laziness & soreness & weight gain & the list goes on.one doctor i know & respect often refers to fibromyalgia as "fibromycrazia"point is...why u get on here starting this thread when you're just one of the many obama followers who mooches off the government like the rest.

If you read my post, I did never apply for disability, I worked in PAIN until I was old enought to retire.

I know all about fibromyliga, I do think there are some dr.s now that accept it as a disease, Dr. Cooze for one. I am more concerned with being crippled, & having to pay some one to do errands for me. I hope you never have to eat your words, do you know the meaning of Karma.

You sound like you are just another angry person in this world.If you worked all those years surely you had 401K or something to fall back on.Dont expect to express your feelings on here and not have anyone to tell you what thay think.I would put every thing I have that you are over weight.I lost 120lbs and feel 15yrs younger.Step away from the computer and fridg.and start slowley exersizing

You are telling us you don't know anyone who gets bennifits that should not be getting them. This country is full of people getting food stamps,welfare,government disability, and insurance disability. and they still work under the table, work in their yard,load and unload boats,all kinds of stuff they are supposed to not be capable of. thats why the country is running out of bennifits for those who truly need it, thats why insurance rates are high. I say we re-investigate everyone who gets bennifits from who ever and there casr reviewed every yr to see if their status has changed, maybe even offer schooling for a job they are capeable of doing if they don't take it NO BENNIFITS. that will eliminate the sponges and make it so only those who deserve it get it

We did not have 401K's. I am not overweight nor do I stay in front of computer.What dr. did your surgery?

If you lost that much weight, good for you, but you have to have lots of loose flabby skin, just walking wouldnt tone all the streched skin you would have after losing 100+ lbs. If you can't beat them,join them. Eventually there will not be anyone making money to mooch from and we can then work on fixing things. You can only spend someone elses money for so long before they sit down and quit working .This country needs alot more sitting down .

If I was truly deserving. I would apply for the benefits allowed me. But only the truly destitute is what these things were set up for. And not all were ment for you to use forever only till you were back on track. I have had a heart condition that I got at a very young age. I qualify for disability but relized that
Would mean the rest of my life would be just existing and nothing more. I did not take it and have went to school & worked when I am not able to work anymore and the doctors assure me it will happen.
There will be nothing left due to people to stupid for planned parenthood, birthcontrol, or the ones just content with being non contributing citizens who only work to figure out how to get more freebies. They are disgusting. Parasites who will exhaust funds set up for those who truly have no other means

It was set up as a way to help those in serious trouble. Then politicians figured out how to gain votes by opening up programs to target groups. As of the last election, there now seems to be more "takers" than "makers". We have now passed the point of no return so to speak. There are more takers voting for freebies and the party that provides them, compared to makers that pay into the system. Historians knew this time would come and have wrote about it for many years. We are now in the "fall" of our countries history. We peaked back in 2004ish. Now its just a long ride to the bottom and revolution. Many countries have seen this happen in faster or slower stages than us. The Balkan area of europe is about the most notorious. Greece is just about to hit bottom with spain not far behind. We will ride the train to the bottom also. The 80's kids will be know in history as those who enjoyed the golden age of America. History shows us there are negitive effects to being to nice. I hate to say it, but history also shows us that a country who allows unfettered immigration and to much race mixing, always fall into welfare states and eventual collapse. Then comes the race cleansing wars and break up of countries.
