The sooner that awful place is shut down and the building buldozed off to the landfill the better.
Morristown will be a much better place.

Hmmm... huge capital investments. One of the biggest facilities around. Paid tremendous amount of taxes to Morristown over the past +25 years. Once the area's biggest employer, probably still in the top 5. Good wages. Worked there several years myself. And idiots like you say bulldoze it? Lemme guess... you jumped on the criticizing bandwagon but have never laid eyes on Mahle, know anybody there, or even where it is? Or did you get fired for a lousy attitude and general laziness?

We all need to hope and pray it does not close. There are a lot of good jobs tied to that place, not to mention all the property taxes they pay.

Oh my God, if Mahle closes Mooristown will dry up and blow away!!
Can you say Enke? Mahle is nothing compared to what they were and Morristown did not cease to exist after they shut down.
You could completely demolish the whole Mahle facility today and noone in Morristown would have a clue it was gone, that is except for the whiney self absorbed goofballs who are unfortunately still being overpaid to work there.
duhhr 2+2 is four, you're hired! I can't wait till they shut it down so I can throw a party and post drunkenly on here and do that nuh nuh nuh nhu hey hey hey gooood bye post over and over .LOL.

John I've not post on this site in well over a Month, but your post is so full of crap that I decided to reply to it.

And not that it matters, but it is spelled Enka and the math test was much more than 2+2=4. If you can use Trig to figure out the angle of a chamfer on the top of a piston in on a blueprint of said piston, you got one question on the test right. Moron...

So. Forget the workers at Mahle. Those roughly 800 people that will need a job, forget them. My post is not about them. Because if they lose their job, it will not effect YOU. Right, YOU are the only person you care about, piss on 800 people losing their jobs and no longer being able to afford to eat, that does not matter to you. So like I said, forget the workers at Mahle.

Lets talk about something that does effect you, tax dollars. Mahle sets on 42.3 acres and is appraised for tax purposes at $16,200,000 dollars. Read it Sixteen MILLION, Two Hundred Thousand dollars. Residences are taxed on 25% of their property value (which means if your house is worth $100,000, you pay tax on $25,000) but business are taxed at 40. Which means Mahle pays property tax on $6,480,000 dollars. Read that, Six MILLION, four hundred eighty thousand dollars. So Mahle leaves. Big deal, You don't care. But I'd make a fair wager saying you do care when Hamblen County raises your property taxes to compensate for that money that Mahle is no longer paying. You need to look at the big picture. There is more at stake than being happy because 'a bunch of whiners lost their jobs' as you put it.

Yes, people like my stepdad who has worked himself to death there in the foundry over 20 years would notice its gone. I hope it doesn't shut down because it has paid him well; and mahle kept a roof over my head while growing up. There is alot of hardworking and wonderful people there who would hate to see it go just to stand in line for unemployment. You shouldn't say things like that unless you have worked side by side with these people everyday for years on end.

oh yea and aparently you have never seen the math test they had to take if you think it's simple math. I've seen these men and women study for months on end and barely squeak by. I've taken college course math classes and still didn't understand half of the questions they had to answer. You need to get your facts straight before you start bad-mouthing workers and the company they work for.

And lets not forget about all of the people that work there that have families who will be without insurance. If they get sick and have to go to the doctor and can't pay there bill, I hope you are ready to step up and help them out because you are such a nice, responsible and caring human being. NOT!!!
