How about that 600 lbs of marijuana. Hope they have a fun stay in the cross-bar hotel. I wonder how much time they could get from this? Versus what they really receive and serve ?

A THP trooper made a big drug bust late Thursday afternoon on I-75 in McMinn County.

According to the Department of Safety, Trooper John Allen, Jr. was at mile marker 45 when he observed a gray Chevy Suburban following a fuel tanker too closely. Trooper Allen, who was watching for speeders with radar at the time, said he also noticed a change in the SUV driver's behavior when he passed him.

Safety officials say Trooper Allen stopped the SUV at mile marker 41, and discovered the driver's license was torn and covered with tape. Allen ordered the driver out of the vehicle for questioning. He then noticed blankets covering the full length of the interior of the Suburban.

Trooper Allen ran his K-9 partner, "Alli" around the vehicle, and the dog responded to the tailgate. When Trooper Allen opened the rear driver's side door, he uncovered 32 bales of marijuana wrapped in rubber material, talcum powder and plastic wrap.

The 600 pounds of marijuana has an estimated street value of $1 million dollars.

Vincent G. Willis, age 24 and passenger Maria Beaver, 23, both of Knoxville, were arrested and booked into the McMinn County jail on charges of possession of marijuana for resale. Willis was also cited for driving on a suspended license.

Whoa! What a change of lifestyle they were hoping for to the one they are going to get now. They are probably having nightmares of being so close yet so far away from 1 MILLION dollars. If I tried that, I wouldn't even get out of my driveway before having a heart attack.

Is that much pot worth a fairly long stay on a state/federal hilton? I would have to personally say no. Cause off to the cross bar hilton they go. And the only way to keep from doing major time is to roll over on their supplier. Plain and simple.

I so do wish they had not got caught and then they could have made a lot of money on it without paying taxes on the money too.Thats alright, there are Billions being made around the globe on illicit drugs which tickles me.There is no way they can stop all the drugs everywhere.I hope a lot of people get rich off of it too.Screw the system and those that try to uphold it.
