what does everyone think of this place. Friend of mine had a coupon for a free session and they wouldn't let her lay because she didn't have a Morristown adddress. That's strange I work in Morristown but I don't live there.

CRAZY PRICES

Morristown, TN

#3 Feb 8, 2012
I'm not paying those prices....Why should I have to pay to tan for a year when I will only tan a couple of months, and to pay there prices of single visits is INSANE!!!!! I will not be going back.

Good Lord! 69.00 a month? Let's say you tan for just 3 months out of the year. That's 207.00 for 3 months. Where I tan it is 30.00 a month for any bed, every day of the month except Sunday because they are closed. So I can tan for 3 months and pay 90.00. That's a huge difference and I will put my tan against any tan that walks out that door and you won't be able to tell a difference. I took a coupon I got in the mail up there yesterday. It was for 5 free tanning visits. I thought I'd try them since it was free and then go back to my usual salon. Those coupons are false advertisement and I reported them to the BBB. In order to use the coupon you have to sign up for a month and have it debited from your account, which is fine, but you can not use the coupon unless you do this. I could have gotten the rest of the month prorated and they would have taken 20.000 off of that for the coupon which would have been an okay deal but knowing they flat out lie with the coupon is why I left. I told her just to keep the coupon and left. Bad business.

I tan at Sunshine Tanning on WAJ heading toward Talbott across from the BP at Panther Creek. They don't have the fancy beds like Sun Tan City nor the amount of beds but they tan well and the prices can not be beat. They also have great lotion prices. I have tanned at Stephanie's Tanning in Buffalo Trail also and like her beds too. I just can't see paying 69.00 a month to lay in a fancy bed when I can get the same result at another salon cheaper.

Sound cheap and superficial? Let me clarify how uneducated you really sound. 1.) Beth's opinion on prices and or salons has nothing to do with being cheap it is being realistic and not following the crowd, unlike you who assumes that because "everyone" is going to the "new" Suntan City you shall join so you can be swavy and chic like all the others females who in the back of their head are saying the same thing. 2.) A "fake" tan is superficial, "that is the point" you lay to be dark. Please further your education. And as for Beth I agree with the prices. I worked at the one in Knoxville "Turkey Creek. I am from/live in Farragut which is one of the most wealthy area's in Knoxville and myself even think the prices are overrated.
